Did anyone else see this? That was the impression I got of him last night especially in the second show.

And did anyone notice what he said when the camera was on him and he had that smug look on his face?

He was defo cocky last night, he was jupming up and down like a money on heat. And I think he said "me next" or "me" words to that effect anyway. And some people say Rachel is cocky.

You have to be cocky and over confident in the music buisness.

All of them are cocky in there own way.

I think he was a bit shaky in the beginning but he's been really good these past 2 weeks

Good yes. but no better than that. If he finished first over acutal singers like alexandra and ruth it would be a disgrace.

I didn't see this, but my husband said that when the names were being called, there was a quick shot of Eoghan (before he was called as safe) and he was being a bit cocky?

I think the hype has reached Eoghan.

I have been wondering what he mouthed... It did look like "me" but surely he wouldn't be that arrogant...? Did anyone else see that?

He's a 16 year old boy, he's probably scared so maybe by putting on cockiness he's trying to make himself appear more confident

I had it on sky+ just looked back and it was deffo something like "me". What a wan**r. Simon cowell must be constantly shattered having to spend every minute of the week attempting to polish a turd.

Unfortunate to have the camera on him at the particular moment!

Maybe he thought he was in the bottom two? I remember Scott saying 'Me' the week he left, meaning he thought he'd be leaving. Didn't see it myself, though.

I didn't see that, but could he have been saying "me" as in "please say my name" rather than a confident "me" as in "I know I'm safe"?

It just looked a bit dodgy because it was just before JLS were announced as going through, which was quite early on and the focus was on who was going through rather than who was in the bottom two. But then of course, we don't know the lead up - maybe Simon asked him a question or something. I like to think the best of people...

Didn't notice this but perhaps he was
mouthing 'me' to say he thought he
would be one of the acts in the
bottom two. He seems confident to
me but not cocky particularly ... I think
he is probably the only act who has
had no real criticism which no doubt
helps his confidence. In my opinion he
is no way ready for being a finalist as
he is not vocally strong enough and
could do with a bit more time, it
drives me mad that his weak vocals
and poor tuning are never criticised
and really it is no wonder he is so
confident with such ott praise each
week.

Im sorry but are they not all thinking - Please let me be safe? He just made the mistake of vocalising? Or would you all be so alteristic that if you were in the contest you would hope it was you going home so that your friends on the show had a chance to win?

I dont like Eoghan as a singer and do not think he deserves to win but I have to be fair!

Yeah he said 'me'. He thought he'd be the next one to get through. Very cocky.

That's exactly what I thought. He didn't look cocky at all to me

When my mum watches X Factor she hates Eoghan LOL

Especially when he said that his family are jealous because he's managing fine without them. Then the next week he put hot chocolate in the kettle.

Then when he bragged that the other contestants in the house have to run around after him because he's the youngest and can get away with being a slob.

And she's usually the sort that likes the cute ones on these shows, there's clearly something about him that's unappealing.

I don't like him personally. But he's bound to be a bit cocky when Cowell and Walsh continue build up his confidence, telling him he's going to make the final. I cannot see the appeal of him.
