• someone congratulated elaine (the producer) on the way she dealed with tommy and jade in the diary room. She chuckled and went all modest

• elaine went on for quite a bit defending against the point about some people saying it was cynical (about the sex thing and also about them all sharing the same bedroom).

• Also she was challenged about what was educational about it and she went on quite a bit about that too. Apparently they're doing research and studying questionaires. Or something.
she said the january shows will include psychology analysis comment by the resident psychiatrist (.....that she referred to as "he", so i guess its not sandra scott )

• tracey says she liked everyone except caroline. She says none of the housemates keep in touch with caroline coz she had a gameplan and was manipulative.

• she says she isnt a homophobe, coz " i've got lots of gay friends ".... she got her "words mixed up, where i am from 'coming onto' someone means touching them but where paul comes from 'coming onto' means just talking to them."

( does that make sense to anyone? coz its bollocks to me)

• she got asked quite a bit about tommy and jade.

• elaine got asked why there was no public voting. She said thats a matter for both Channel 4 and the housemates to decide, whether they feel, at 18, they are able to handle that.

Someone then said "Why not? they're adults". She then kinda sidestepped the point with something about "the producers feel they were physically and emotionally prepared for teenBB experience without the vote". Or something like that, i cant remember the exact words coz it was a bit of a politicians type answer


Thats kinda what i remembered of some of it. They said a transcript will be posted there within a couple days.

it sounds like shes angry at Carolines vitriolic paranoia about her but is willing to forgive her in the longterm. I respected her for clobbering Caroline in the chat. She deserves it. Im wondering if the "carry on watching" was referring to Carolines strange vindictive "why I should win" speech

But it sounds like once she gets all the anger out her system she is willing to forgive Caroline since she did get on with her in the house. She is right to be angry IMHO

James was just as bad IMHO, but then maybe Tracey gives off those vibes I suppose but they were wrong. Maybe Tracey could have won if Caroline and James hadnt turned Paul against her.

One flaw here of course....Caroline was right about Tracey...she was stirring it..And Tracy is just bitter because she didn't get a round the world holiday because she was so bitchy........Caroline should be the one forgiving Tracy.........Tracy deserves no respect from anyone..she certanly hasn't earned any......

I agree she came accross as gobby and as a stirrer. Apparently she is defending herself saying it was all down to editing.

I found funny when she said in front of all the others she hasn't bitched at all. Perhaps she does it so naturally that it has become second nature.. or perhaps is her way of interacting with others. But definitely, having her around means trouble. Although from a BB perspective she was entertaining.

It was clear she used the chat the other night, radio interviews and press articles to exonerate herself.

I found interesting how much time she spent talking about the others and what they think about Caroline. It's a pity we don't know the version of the others and Caroline isn't in Britain to defend herself.

yes I would agree with all that Tamara.

Tracey expresses herself in negative ways mostly, and was always trying to get others to talk about others and using leading questions so they would do the talking, but I dont think it was a plan to win or anything. Thats her just being herself. Maybe if it had lasted for weeks and her position had become stronger it may have had sinister tones. She has said she bitches a lot and even says things like "I dont backstab" to the group as if she realises she talks too much about everyone.

Shes a pretty negative person to be around but at the same time I still think she has a good heart but whether she learns to express herself more positively I dont know. Jade seems to have learnt from the show quickly anyway.

I think she actually wanted to get on with everyone. She even thought Caroline was her friend. The actual things she was saying about people were things like "what do you think of ..?" and "she is isolating herself from the group" etc but I dont think she meant anything by it.

Another thing I meant to say, Tracey is saying they all dont talk to Caroline but thats pretty impossible since she is on holiday with Paul but the ones that believed Caroline are probably surprised. They were all a bit wary of Traceys gossiping but Caroline took it a stage further and I get the feeling that it was her who was ruining Traceys chances because of her paranoia. Not that I think Traceys bothered but what actually happened (IMHO) is that Caroline ended up ruining Traceys chance of winning (she could have got Pauls vote and Caroline would have been out)

It seems to me that Carolines main aim after thinking Tracey was conniving ( at James mention of her tlaking to them all individually) was to wreck Traceys stay (she even chose Hassam cos TRacey chose Shaneen and Caroline even changed her mind about Tracey (said so to Shaneen) but when sitting with James she went back to hating Tracey again)

And I think we only seen glimpses of the bitching about Tracey. Caroline said she felt bad about all the talking about Tracey to Shaneen. And Paul ended up hating Tracey cos of Caroline etc.

in fact he may have chosen Caroline for alerting him to Traceys backstabbing Caroline really hurt him with her "youre not the leader paul" comment and she probably couldnt bring herself to vote for any of the others in the group in the end and Paul voted for her.

Tracey is the type of person I would hate to be in the BB house with, she is full of sh*t. She is loud with a very annoying whining voice, she thinks that she is 'it'. Her opinions on general things have no foundation.
I took a great dislike to her within 30 seconds of the series when the housemates were asked to unblock the toilet, and she piped up in a matter of fact tone "I just can't - I've had my nails done".
Someone should teach her how to speak slower and to get her words in the correct order, and give her a slap.

"but at the beginning of the show I was looking like a bit of a bitch, but I'm not." - when she said this (in the chat) she presumably defined "beginning" as "[insert duration of show here] weeks" !.

Bizarre too that she considers Caroline was a threat to her. What position does Tracey think she had that C threatened: the pretty one? The clever one? Team leader? What?

Also I find it bizarre that Elaine (the producer) is still trying to justify the show as some sort of "experiment" - it's certainly not such a thing as what I learnt in experimental psychology.

For a start there was no defined hypothesis that we were told of, and there was no control group (*they should have got HALF the HMs doing something (like wearing boiler suits), and used the others as a control, for example).

Why can't they (producers) admit that it's just a meaningless bit of fun, instead of some pseudo-intellectual exercise?
