Bored
Now I must admit I wasn't viewing these forums during last years X-factor but I imagine the vibe was pretty much the same.
Aren't people bored  with writing daily/weekly year after year pretty much the same thing ... it's all predictable teens voting, ruining the show judges fix it to what they want etc etc The only way to please people (but doubt it would) is to make it mandatory that every person viewing the show must register a vote ... and even then people who moan that "Eoghan has won because of the tweenie vote". But surely if that is the biggest opinion of the voters he is the rightful winner - if teenage girls are the majority typical viewer and they vote for the young guy then maybe you're all watching the wrong show ... maybe you could try Strichtly Come Dancing on BBC?

Plus I hate all the foregone conclusions such as:
`All Irish vote for Eoghan` and `All teenage girls vote for Eoghan` I`m both Irish and a teenage girl and hate Eoghan! Would much rather vote for JLS, Alex or Diana tbh! Plus Irish people cant vote! |

They're really good points. I really would love the profile of each voter just to prove that no pattern exists. I'll go next ...
26, Male, Gay, English ... votes for Diana (my partner) 29, Male, Gay, English ... votes for Eoghan There is actually a whole thread going on voter demographics with people giving their age and gender and whether they vote and who for, I will see if I can find it for you. Edit - here it is http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...ht=demographic |
