Anything that's not 100% sweetness and roses is always going to offend someone!

WELL DONE JAMES! For saying what everyone else is thinking but haven't got the guts to say it out loud!!

He's a pro, he has more right to a say than anyone I guess. It might be worth remembering that without people like him there would be no show.

From what I've seen this year, we'd have a darned sight better show without the phone votes, too. I pay my license fee, why should I have to put up with the questionable choices of people with more money than taste?

Unfortunately, I don't think that James having his say will have helped.

James can get on a phone and vote like I can. I can't stand up and say my piece in front of the viewers so neither can James. Only my opinion of course - but his actions will make me vote even more for John.

*shrugs*

I'm sure there's other pro dancers thinking the same thing. James just has the balls to say it - probably because now he's out of the competition he knows it won't affect him any more!

I agree. It takes guts to say something when you know it's going to offend a fair section of the population.

God help us all for the people who are just keeping john in for the stupidity of it all, and to be honest thats what it now is... stupid.

I think one of the pro's needed to say something like that, but it had to be one that'd left. James could only say it now, because if he'd said it when he was still in, there would've been a lot of negativity towards C&J.

I just don't think he gives a toss what people think about him and probably saw no point in biting his tongue now.

James is paid a lot of money to be there and to help his partner dance to the best of their abilities. It is not his place or his entitlement to make the comment he made IMHO.

I would say it was more his place than anyones, considering he has been directly affected by this.

If James can say it about John, why can't any departing pro say it about any of the celebs left? We could have Strictly Come Bitching.

He deserves a say, of course he does and I completely stand by him on this, I agreed 100% with his sentiments, However...
He did pick a bad time to say what he said, there is a time and a place and perhaps there and then wasn't the smartest of places to "vent" shall we say but good on him for saying what SOME of us think.

It must be frustrating for the professionals, I'm glad James had his say.

I can fully understand his frustration and disappointment. Poor James, he's got the point. I wonder if he'd be invited back next year.

Seriously? Why?

I get voting for him because he's entertaining (just about).

But why vote for him because of James?
