i don't normally watch this show but have of course seens snippets of it over the years. one thing always puzzles me: do the 'celebs' honestly think that the program makers would allow them to get hurt?

for instance, i was just watching the thing tonight where 2 of the men were trying to get the star out from a place where there was scorpions. would the producers really risk their actually getting bitten?

and if that is the case, then apart from phobias, what makes them panic so much about such tasks?

katiekoo, I'm a "fan" of this show but do agree that the producers would never willing put the "celebs" in dangers, so they do sometimes need to grow a pair.

However, the namby pamby nature of "celebs" would explain why they react like Nancys
