I WOULDN'T HAVE SEX ON TELLY FOR £50 MILLION LET ALONE £50,000
BIG Brother winner Cameron Stout yesterday blasted Tommy Wright and Jade Dyer for bonking on the box.
The 32-year-old fish merchant was worried about the live sex romp's potential impact on younger viewers and the dangers of sexually transmitted disease.
Cameron, from Orkney, said: ``If you put 18-year-olds in the same bedroom it's difficult for them not to, isn't it?
``I think it's unwise putting it on the TV because there's a big following from younger folk.
``A fair proportion of them are under the age of consent.
``I don't know how wise it is bearing in mind the amount of teenage pregnancy in the UK.''
Clean-living Christian Cameron added: ``A newspaper offered £50,000 for the first sex scene on Big Brother.
``I wouldn't have done it for £50 million let alone £50,000.
``You get psychological analysis before the show but you don't get an AIDS test.
``And yet there's teenagers in there having it off who have probably not been tested for any disease they may be carrying.
``I don't know if that's right.'' Cameron said it would be ``irresponsible'' if the programme showed housemates being offered the morning-after pill.
He added: ``They obviously want viewers and it's good to have excitement on the programme. But I don't know if Wednesday's show was the wisest.''
Cameron reckoned the show's producers were banking on the younger contestants being out to top their older predecessors.
He added: ``Teenagers would like to think of themselves as grown-up so they'll be getting into arguments, having sex, trying to top us.
``If I was that age and had been selected to go on something like that man alive!
``It is the thrill of a lifetime in your 30s, let alone being 18.''
