Tom is doing the Tango as Camilla said it when it was announced they were through to next week

Christine's done the jive, I think she's got cha cha, rhumba, salsa left.

Oh and the tango's tough on Tom having to follow Austin.

It's really odd that it looks like (if they survive) several couples are left doing 3 ballroom (Tom, Lisa, Rachel) or 3 latin (Austin, Jodie, John - yikes!) in a row.

According to Wiki (which I know isn't 100% accurate; but its a source)

Austin and Erin = Salsa
Christine and Matthew = Char Char Char (Darling)
Jodie and Ian = Jive
John and Kristina = Rumba
Lisa and Brendan = Quickstep
Rachel and Vincent = Foxtrot
Tom and Camilla = Tango - - - Confirmed

That shouldn't be, half the couples have three ballroom and two latin left and the other half three latin and two ballroom.
The lists you're seeing on this thread are based on the assumption that those who did Latin last saturday are doing ballroom this week and vice versa.

Yes thats right those dances I have put in my opening post are only some of the dances they have left to dance based on the if its a Latin or Ballroom week this week for them.

For instance Austin has still to dance

Cha Cha Paso Foxtrot Salsa American Smooth but as he is likely to be doing latin this week only posted that the choice would be cha cha Paso or Salsal.

It is either rumoured or confirmed, Austin is dancing the Salsa and John is dancing the Rumba .

I cant see Austin doing a paso the week after a Tango but who knows.....I think this is all pointing towards John doing the rumba myself eeeeekkkkkk

If John is doing the rumba I can quite see Kristina doing an entirely different interpretation of the word 'love', i.e. not the lustful kind, and surprising us yet again.

Obviously, I think even Jodie is aware to herself that she is going to struggle with the Jive, though I do think she could be the dark horse in the Jive.

She does have great potential.

It'll be good for a laugh at the very least.

As an aside, imho never has not alternating Ballroom and Latin right from the start has such an effect on who stays in the competition.

I'm guessing this could go either way.

Well on Mondays ITT John said that Kristina had explained the dance to him and he thought everyone was going to love it but didnt say what dance. If its the Rumba I cant seem them doing it as anything but a spoof can you.

I am surprised John & Kristina haven't performed the Salsa yet.

On ITT, IIRC, Kristina said it was her favourite dance, and I'm sure it would be very entertaining for the us at home!

IIRC Lisa followed the Paso Doble by dancing the Tango earlier in the series, so it is possible.

I don't even want to think about John's rumba.

I think Christine may struggle a bit this week with the cha cha cha. I hope Tom's sorted out his Paso face, and the Tango face is less Mr. Grumpy. I fear, with the foxtrot could go back to dull for Rachel. Lisa should be happier in thre Quickstep, she does appear to have quick feet, as long as the dance doesn't run away with her. I'm worried about Jodie with the jive - hopefully Ian may choreograph a slightly original one to help her deal with it (aka Penny's Samba).

IF Wiki is right, and Austin has the Salsa then that could be problematic. The Salsa's a horrible dance to do IMO because it doesn't have a firm foundation (eg. rumba is romance, waltz is elegance, paso doble is the bullfight) and he may lose his upper body again (though I'm sure Arlene will be delighted at the opportunity to mention his muscles again).

I think we're in for another interesting week. Though I give up picking the bottom two, I keep getting it wrong.
