Not sure if this is the right forum to post in, but myself and fellow presenter Dan Doubleday on Source Radio (Coventry's student station at www.sourceradio.co.uk and 1431AM) are launching a campaign to get Cliff Richard his first number one of the 00s, thus meaning he'd have a number one in every decade since the 50s!

Get out there, and spend just 79p on a download to get the single

I think you're a bit late on this. However, can I start a campaign to NOT get him to number one. Can't stand the bloke. False as they come.

If his single needs a campaign, then it's not deserving of a no.1.

I honesty think he is a legend.

To get a number 1 hit in this decade, He's only got 5 months left to try out now before 2010 starts.

Interesting thread bump Simon

Maybe Cliff should enter the X-Factor, then he'd get the Christmas number one just in time, 'cos he's bound to win.

Or alternatively, die. That usually does the trick

Well just 1 chart left and unless there is some sort of get Cliff to No1 campaign it looks like he'll miss out this decade.

The problem with this RATM thing is that the fourm will now be flooded with pointless 'campaigns' to get any old crap to number one...

'Hey, Bardo were legends of music, cruelly robbed of Eurovision success in 1982, let's start a campaign to get 'One Step Further' to number one'. Yeah, right.

It's going to happen next year. It's worked this year now everyone is going to think they can start a campaign to get something to number 1.

What is going to happen, unfortunately, is that there's going to be so many that the Xfactor will probably win by default because not everyone will stick to the same campaign like they did this year.
