Why has Mr Brightside by The Killers always been in the lower reaches of the official UK Top 100 in the last few months? Mystifying.

I just checked the chart and it is at number 73. It was 60 last week.

It's a great song! One of their best ever so it is no suprise that many have been downloading it, almost 4 years after it's release.

And together:

"It started out with a kiss
How did it end up like this
It was only a kiss, it was only a kiss"

Cause its a modern day classic, yet at the time when it came out it didn't do well, and a result has a constant small but steady flow of people downloading it.

I hate the lyrics

Now they're going to bed
And my stomach is sick
And it's all in my head
But she's touching his-chest
Now, he takes off her dress
Now, letting me go

Aww, what a girl

I can't argue with that, It's one of the finest tracks of this decade and one we'll be jumping around to when we're gransparents .

I thought the Killers were an indie Darkness when they first appeared.. by that I mean Indie By Numbers, a novelty band - much like the Darkness were to Rock (although Justin didn't think so)

Well I know it didn't chart on it's first limited edition release 5 years ago, but it reached number 10 in the UK and US on its main release, so I wouldn't go as far as to say "it didn't do well".
