Feel I need to moan

Now this is tricky for me as James Jordon was one of my favourites.
He really narked me last night with "we MUST vote on dancing". hummmm sorry but until he pays my ridiculous TV license fee which pays his wages and my phone bill will vote for the bloody hell who I like.
It IS an entertainment show and sorry but people can vote for who they like. If Cheri didnt get enough votes then thats cause people didnt like her TOUGH DEAL WITH IT.

I voted for Lisa and Austin by the way.

Did he say that when Ola danced with Kenny?....because the judges seemed to want him to go too.

IMO it was an ill-considered comment that was always going to be misinterpreted/counter-productive but IIRC he didn't say that. He asked the public to vote on the quality of the dancing. I don't remember him using the word 'must'.

Agree.....or in future series will we have to take a "Judge Proficiency test" before we are allowed to vote? Or told here is the numbers for the people the judges will allow you to vote for.

Yeah, you have to have reached a certain standard with the examining body. What's it called?

Hey, if non-dancers can be invited to dance then non-dancers can get to vote.
For a general election you only need to be 18!
How hard can voting for a sleb BE????

I think the judges, Bruce and James should not tell the public what to do. They will do what they want. And if you say don't vote, they will. But I do understand his frustration at leaving.

He narked me far more by doing absolutely nothing to comfort or support Cherie whilst waiting for the judge decisions. He stared straight ahead unlike Brendan who squeezed Lisa's arm etc during the voting process.

I'm not a particular fan of either professional and didn't vote for anyone, nor will I until some of the money goes to charity.

Viewers, as we know, have the right to vote for whoever they like, for whatever reason they like. We might not always like what they are voting, but we have to accept it.

It's the judges job to judge the quality of the dancing. The celebs & their pro partners might not always like what they are told, but they have to accept it.

The judges slagging off certain celebs, and certain celebs slagging off the judges, simply results in certain celebs getting more publicity than all the others put together.

Well, the pros are in the same position as the judges - they know what's good and what isn't, but they're totally powerless to do anything about it. If I were James I might think about sounding off too.

That said, I'm not James, and I thought him saying that straight after he'd been knocked out came across as no more than sour grapes. I disliked it in the same way I disliked Brendan singling out Jodie and Ian's waltz the other week. The pros might have opinions, but voicing them makes it all about them, not about their partners.

I think that everyone has a right to their opinion, I just think that James could have been slightly more tactful in how he said his. But I don't believe that James is a tactful individual, and was obviously upset about being voted out, hence the reaction.

Everyone seems to have forgotten that Kenny actually said on camera that he had offered to leave the show in place of Gabby and James but the BBC wouldn't release him from the contract.

James had eaten a big ol' bowl of bitter pills tonight. Not nice to see. He should have been the bigger man and taken his exit with good grace. Shame.
