If the moaners spent as much of their time voting for their 'brilliant' dancer...

And that's not exactly the same as people voting because they feel sorry for someone/fancy someone/liked the dress etc?

People can vote however they choose, for whatever reason they chose. End of.

So where is this link for 100 votes for one click?

I'd love to know who's paying if true.

Please explain what this is about??

No idea to be honest - but since I don't vote a ridiculous number of times it doesn't have a massive affect on my bill.

If people only voted for brilliant dancers then Jodie and Christine wouldn't get any votes either.
Or Lisa. That samba was not very good.

But that's not the way it works.

Unless people only ever vote for the top dancer that week regardless of personality blah blah blah then they should just accept that John will stay in as long as people vote for him.

Cherie was NOT brilliant on Saturday. So why should she not go out? John wasn't brilliant either but he's better liked.

How hard is that to understand?

Ah but it's never been about just brilliant dancers. Otherwise Gough never would have won. However the winners have always been at least very good and have shown definite improvement. John is neither very good nor improving. Cherie had an okay week but her dancing, although not her best standard was still better than John's.

I have said that time and time again on other threads there is certainly a dilution of good dancer votes at the moment but that will disappear as time goes on and the good dancers become fewer and more voterscome on board. However, I am not sure dilution came into this as I would have expected at least one of Cherie or Lisa to have been 'oversaved' if you know what I mean and that didn't happen at all. That makes me wonder if we are dealing with apathy.

I have said, I don't vote. I vote in the final and it will be for best dancer. I have only ever voted before the final twice - to try and save Louisa (didn't work) and to try and save Alesha in semi (did work).

I also don't mind who gets through. I'm not a JS fan. I am just fed up with moaning when the format is such JS got through and another not that good dancer on Saturday didn't.

Nor is JS anywhere near winning. We just had so many dancers this year it seems like it!

The winner has always been someone who balances the Strictly scales of 'dancing' and 'personality'.

At the minute, John's weighting of 'personality' is enough to see off people who have a few points more than him on the judges dancing table but distinctly less in the way of personality points.

When he comes up against the big hitters whose dancing and personality combined is more than his rather more sided score, he will be gone.

If the judges keep moaning then the public will vote? The general public have decided the show is about Entertainment as well as dancing now. Anyway it's attracting viewers and making the show big attraction for a Saturday and Sunday Night TV?

I agree that in the past this has been true, but I've got a bad feeling that will not be the case this year as there are HUGE amounts of money on JS to win. One poster on here has £200 at 150/1 on JS - they will win £30000! Also apparently a large betting syndicate is also voting for JS to win.

I do hope the dancing wins through as this subject is affecting the credibility of SCD imho, but I've got a horrible feeling JS is not like the other celebs who were poor dancers, but kept getting voted in week after week. I think this is a different situation altogether with structured campaigns to keep him in for lots of reasons.

I hope like hell I'm wrong.

Yes, if you look at Darren Gough, he got some pretty poor scores throughout the comp.

Stop moaning and get dialling. You are not voting enough.”

Exactly. Fact is Cherie wasn't appreciated, her cold haughty attitude didn't go down well. Lisa has the handicap of being paired with Brendan.

John isn't so good, but he is loved.

Those of us who voted for John, did it gladly because we want to see him and Kristina again.

More people wanted him than Cherie. FACT

If John had that much money on him he would be betting favourite and he isn't. He only has better odds than Jodie which, I think, given the situation is fair enough but everyone else has better odds of winning. So, there isn't that much money on him.

I'm sorry but you are wrong about this.

The serious betters put their money on JS at the start of the series - the betting odds are completely different now.
