John is not in control !!

I have read a number of threads today with great amusement.

I have read suggestions that John should be ashamed of himself and just walk away gracefully, that it's all the judges' fault, or that he's actually a better dancer than some of those left in, or that people are voting for him out of sympathy or jealousy at other dancers - the theories are truly amazing!!

I actually reckon he's orchestrated his support rather well over the weeks from the highly amusing "I know the public will save us" comment onwards. But I reckon he's ready to go, he said as much on ITT last week and look at the way they tried to "walk off" after their dance. If they had been in the dance-off perhaps he would have truly walked off once he'd danced and would have then been remembered for his exit.

However, what this demonstrates is that he's no more in control of how people are voting than anyone else.

He did an okay dance but was clearly bottom two material so what does he do? He can't just walk away and the competition is now far too good for him to realistically compete!

In my view, he has no option but to carry on as he has been by being amusing and telling us that he's enjoying it all. Secretly though I bet he thought he'd choreographed his exit at the weekend and is maybe somewhat disappointed.

I'm not sure if John's ready to go, but Kristina seems to be. She seems much more weary of the whole thing than she was in former weeks. Somehow her reaction to them getting through and her VT seemed less enthusiastic than previous weeks. Though maybe that's my imagination!

No I saw that in her body language this time too, it must be difficult for her too......

But public want him.......so..nothing he can do.

I think Kristina expects to go, but makes a good job of training so she is holding her end up. It is a great testament to her attitude towards training that makes people want to keep him in
She should realise that we are voting for her too, cos we loves her we do!

Yes, I think she said "no way, I don't believe it!" when the result was announced.

Remember that John Sergeant hasn't actually done anything wrong. Blame the viewers, blame the voting system, but not him.

What happens when John is finally in the bottom two? Is it worth him performing the dance-off, knowing that there is no chance of him getting saved by the judges?

(btw I think the "walk-off" after the dance was scripted and not at all spontaneous! Bearing in mind that Forsyth is one of the writers I wouldn't be surprised if he wrote this into the show for entertainment value, he didn't look that shocked by it).
