Google voice search launches for iphone

Has anyone tried it yet? I've just played with it for 5 minutes, and its surprisingly accurate.

I can see myself using this app a fair bit.

I've been looking on the app store and not having much joy...

I did a search for Google Voice and there's nowt there...

Find the google earth app, (it should be in the top free list)

When ya there, click on the link "all applications by google"

You should see two apps, you're obviously after the "google mobile app"

I tried it a half dozen times. Gave it relatively simple queries, and I believe I speak in a fairly neutral English accent.

Didn't get any of them right. Even closely.

it's an interesting example of cloud based computing this. there's no reason why going forward this couldn't e used for full speech to text.

works fine with my posh-ish british voice. it says it works best with a north american accent. anyway, i've deleted now as i don't think i'd use it.

A bit gimmicky I think. Works okay for me, but I can't see myself using it.
