Hot, aren't they? Either spelling's right - it's not an English word, and I've seen both on menus.
Only had it once and I see it as Phal.. Quite apt actually coz I pronounced it as FOUL ![]() Yes, you are right, they are *expletive* hot!! I kept going back and forth from the table to the bathroom. No one said anything at the time coz they didn't want to embarrass me but after when we got home my Brother-In-Law said ''you wasn't going to the loo, that was too hot wasn't it'' They were all sitting at the table laughing at me every time I went to the toilet, apparently ![]() Very hot!! |

Neither. Indians are the colour of diarrhoia. Chinese look like they are packed with chemicals and colourings.

I love BOTH.. perhaps that's just 'cos I'm greedy hahah
![]() I usually order spring rolls with barbeque sauce, chicken fried rice/beef curry/beef cantonese if I'm having a chinese. if it's Indian then I order poppadoms with pickle tray, sheek kebab, chicken tikka madras/chicken tikka massala. However the other day my boyfriend and I braved the Phall which is seriously hot. This thread is making me hungry now
