AV interference
I have a Philips TV(28pw8717)which is not available(freely)in this country. Its a superb set(100htz,flatscreen etc)but I seem to get interference with anything thats plugs into the front AVs.
I thought at first it was an awful S-Video lead i was using but after buying 2 more I realised it was not this and maybe my DVD player. I have now connected my Gamecube through the 3 phono inputs on the front and it gives interference on this too. Basically the interference is 2 3" wide vertical bars going from the bottom of the screen to the top. They are transparent and almost unnoticable to the casual TV viewer but it drives me crazy. I have tried turning other things off, unplugging things, changing settings but still no luck.I am quite educated when it comes to this kind of thing but this has me beat. Please help! |

This sounds like a known problem with Philips TVs.
