It's the comments that Arlene has been making off the show that are the problem.

Arlene was the one who choreographed Hot Gossip the raunchy boy girl dancers in the 70's. She really is an unpleasant woman on that show. I can't bear her spiteful comments that go no where.
Go away, Arlene!

If you want to be a professional judge, start acting like one. OK, you are asked for your opinions on ITT, but spare us the media bile 247.

You accuse John of "undermining" the show but I reckon you are doing that, not him.

You seem to target one professional every series and there's just no let up. But if a contestant is male and fit and has a nice bottom, then you go overboard and make a total fool of yourself.

What message is that giving to the thousands of kids that watch the show? If you aren't attractive or talented or young adults will attack you on a personal level at every opportunity?

If this carries on the show will find it very hard to attract anyone but very young, very fit actors and sports people in the future. And how boring will that be?”

I'm bumping this post from earlier today, before John's 'emotionally forced' resignation. How apt your comments about Arlene were then, and how true. I felt it important to remind others what Arlene's attitude was up to this morning and you are SO correct that this gives a terrible message to young people.

Yet her previous attitude contrasts so dramatically with her desperate back pedalling on ITT this evening. By tomorrow I expect Arlene will declare herself John's No 1 supporter throughout his time on Strictly and no doubt make a sickening display of false admiration for him on Saturday night.

I believe that James ignitied a vicious catalyst last results show and the torch of that catalyst was carried onward by Arlene in the media this week. Professionals - LOL LOL LOL - well, in my opinion, just Professional Bullys this week.

Endemoniada - but the people she attacks are real people with real feelings (or don't celebrities count?)”

I agree.
She went too far this time, has tried to backtrack.
She looked scared and subdued on ITT tonight.
A learning experience, she won't make the same mistakes again hopefully.

No doubt she will give him a standing ovation on Saturday whilst trying to hide a smug self-satisfied smile! Two-faced cow!
