Strictly does not care about charity anymore !

Well John has left, in my own opinion he has bullied into leaving, so what if he is not the judges favourite, so what if he has not made the same progress as the other contestants.

The judges and all at strictly have forgotten one thing, the money raised by the public voting for the dancers each week, just think how much they will lose now. I think Arlene and the rest have forgotten that it is not just a dance show it is also an entertainment programme which raises money for charity. It is for charity at the end of the day and I think that everyone involved with the show that have been against John getting through should look at themselves and remind them the true reason for the public vote, Charity.

Strictly should be named strictly down the pan, the place where its going, or strictly judges favourites only. The writing is on the wall now.

Just think of all the charity money this has caused to be lost, perhaps the judges should handle over their fees for charity, or be replaced !

how many 64 year olds would put them selves through this, for me the fun and entainment has gone from this show.

I don't think any money goes to charity anymore. I think they stopped that after all those voting scandals.
But I do agree with your other comments.

I just do not understand why so many people still think the money raised by voting is for charity when it quite clearly isn't anymore.

I think things would have been different if it HAD raised money for CIN this year. JOhn might feel his place and votes were legitimised because of raising cash for charity.

Because some people are, for want of a better word, stupid?

Careful. I didn't realise until about 2 weeks ago that it wasn't for CIN this year. And I am not stupid. I live a very happy and productive life on my pretty pink planet.

That's a bit harsh. I think a lot of people have made this mistake - the BBC hasn't exactly been publicising the change, has it?

Oh OMG not another one............

Right I am about to slit my wrists while drinking a whole bottle of either bleach or spirits (the latter of the whiskey/brandy variety)

If the mods thought they had a task on their hands last night for reducing the number of JS related threads... things have now officially got out of control.....

I just checked the first 3 pages of threads on the BBC ITT forum only has 3 non JS related threads.... (thats 57 threads about John and 3 about the rest (of which one at least was about Claudia's footwear)...

Im losing the will to live!

I think it would have been very awkward for John to quit on the reasons he's given, if it was still for charity.

Apparently the fact that this gets raised every other day is not enough to get it through to some people......

Fair enough, but have you started an "I'M INDIGNANT ABOUT THE CHARIDEE, THINK OF THE CHILDREN" thread? Without bothering to, you know, check the facts?
