Only 6 couples left now and I have a feeling it's going to be pretty tight on the leaderboard! I think that we know everyone's dances except Austin so how do you think it will pan out on saturday?

Here's my thoughts:

1) Lisa (quickstep) 36
2) Rachel (foxtrot) 35
3) Austin (paso/salsa) 34
4) Tom (Tango) 33
5) Christine (Cha Cha) 32
6) Jodie (Jive) 29

Dance off - Tom v Jodie Jodie OUT

1) Lisa (quickstep) 38
2) Austin (paso/salsa) 35
3) Rachel (foxtrot) 33
3) Tom (Tango) 33
5) Christine (Cha Cha) 29
6) Jodie (Jive) 24

Dance off Rachel vs Tom?

Jodie and Christine have alot of public support; the judges wont be too popular and those 2 contestant are probably the ones that will get slated by them.

That would be an interesting dance off! I think in that case they would save Tom!?

Whoever is 3rd and 4th bottom above the expected bottom 2. Jodie and Christine.

I agree with yohinnchild, Christine and Jodie have shown they have a large fan base, unlike Lisa and Rachel.

...and think they could both pick up plenty of John's votes too.

Agreed; Jodie In particular I think will benefit from John leaving

I'm hoping that they combine this weekend's scores with those of the following week and then open the phone lines for the public vote. This will ensure that we don't end up with a two-person final. They do this on DWTS on occasion when there is a withdrawal.

1 Tom - TANGO = 37PTS
2. Rachel - Foxtrot = 34pts
3. Austin - Salsa = 32pts
3. Lisa -quickstep = 32 pts
5. Christine - Cha Cha = 31points
6. Jodie - jive = 28 points

Can't see Tom being beaten by Austin and Rachel when Tom has an acting dance

I think Lisa may be in trouble again but I hope not.

As long as the dance-off is between two of Austin, Rachel and Tom, I'm happy!

Why do people want Tom out when he is the best all round dancer

I don't want Tom out; I can just see him struggling a bit with the Tango - just an opinion.

I think either Rachel or Lisa will be out; or everything will revert to normal and Jodie and Christine will be in the dance off.

I've put a tenner on Rachel going at 12/1 - I can't see her Foxtrot being a particular WOW dance to be voted on highly by the GBP

Fair enoughBut the Tango is an acting dance- the man has to be aloof and arrogant- Tom can do that with his eye shut
Though I wouldn't recommend he dance with his eyes shut.
Austin may struggle with the salsa- certainly the arms bit

I want him to stay.

For me there are now two distinct camps. In the top tier we have Austin, Tom and Rachel. I feel they are all better overall dancers (by a fair margin) than those in the bottom tier, Lisa, Jodie and Christine.

Anyone from the top tier, I believe, will almost certainly be saved against anyone from the bottom tier by the Judges.

I simply can't see all three of Lisa, Jodie and Christine escaping the dance-off this week (assuming there is one). At least one will be there. Which then implies that one of these three girlies is doomed.

JOdie and Lisa bottom 2? I don't think Rachel would be.
Wonder what will happen with the 'genuine' votes that used to go to JS

Because it's one rule for one and one for another. It's alright to vote on personality when it's your particular favourite.

jodies doing the jive this week isnt she?
If she is this could be a tough week for her.

I think there are actually three tiers - Austin, Tom and Rachel being Tier One, Lisa on her own in Tier Two and then finally, Christine and Jodie in Tier Three. Lisa is the wildcard, I think. If she pulls out a great performance against a fair one from any of those in Tier One, I think she'd be saved. Len, particularly, seems to like her.

Well pleased to say I vote on whether they can dance. I give two votes out per week.
Who does the best peformace in ballroom and latin.
Plus I must confess that I think Camilla is a fab dancer- and she always takes a risk with the choroegraphy- there is always something extra she puts into a ballroom dance

Last week my vote went to Austin with the Tango and Tom for the salsa

Possibly. But the Quickstep is a fast dance, I don't think she'll be as good at it as the slower ballroom dances.

I also think, when push comes to shove, the Judges will find reasons to justify saving either Austin, Rachel or Tom over her.

Now that John has gone, this week is going to be fascinating. They will all be scrambling as best they can to gain relative safety at the top of the leaderboard. It could be the best week yet.

Slightly peeved to be told by Bruce Forsythe (whilst he was commenting on John's departure) that there were 4 potential winners. As host, I really think its totally bad form for him to be commenting on the competition.

So I am agreeing with many above that even though Christine and Jodie are likely to be the bottom two with the judges, they could well not be in the dance-off - and I am one that hope they're not.

Of the 'top 4' it (I'll leave it up the judges - who know best!!!) - but I know that nothing will make me pick up the phone and spend my hard-earned money on any of them - sorry.

It will be interesting to see the reactions of the judges if that happened. I think that the lowest placed dancers could get a lot of support from the voters.
