This is not a dance show and thats what people don't seem to get. A dance show would use all pro dancers, have no chatting between dances and would get many less veiwers. This is an entertainment show

Bit of a mystery why it has "Dancing" in its title then.

It could be "Strictly Come Farting".

John would still win.

THAT's what people do not understand, or accept.

Now John has gone, it has become a dance show.

Strange how everyone dances on saturday and they get marked on their dancing

So it's called 'strictly come DANCING' because...???

I expect there are a few discreet farts as well.

But they get voted on by the public on entertainment factor.
Thats why its not a dance competition. Its a saturday night family entertainment show, and to that end it really doesnt matter who wins.

But thats not the whole point of the show. If that was the case why not just get rid of the person with lowest score and not have a phone vote ?

Surely it should be called 'strictly come entertaining' in that case. The word DANCING is in the title for a reason.

It's a dance-oriented entertainment show. In other words, it's a mixture.

Why do they bother practising all week then, why not just turn up on Saturday and try and blag it with a crap dance and a few jokes????
