I found James' comments unprofessional. By demanding that John be booted off the show, he was insinuating that one of hs colleagues Kristina endure the same fate. He did't spare a thought for her feelings or the time and effort she had contributed to getting the best out of her partner. That's insulting.
I'm afraid I don't follow your argument about the rules. John & Kristina were doing nothing 'questionable' in my eyes. They danced, were scored and then voted for by the public like everyone else.
If the Beeb don't like it, by all means alter the rules for next year. But you can't change them or moan about them mid-series once contracts have been signed and those rules have been set in place.
