Having seen umpteen threads about 'you know who' I was wondering if anyone else isn't bothered?

Perhaps now the competition can begin.

Well I'm enjoying the immense amount of hypocrisy emanating from some of John's supporters.

However I'm glad he's gone and looking forward to what could be a very interesting final third of the show.

It's dead.

The BBC killed it forever today.

I'm not in the least bothered and am looking forward to the proper competition starting at last.

Will now watch it on Saturday- previously I was going to avoid it!

Not in the least bit bothered.

The media hype that has surrounded this non story just baffles me. Rubbish dancer gets further in reality show shock - that hasn't happened before! Oh silly me it happens in every series.

Hopefully the show will just trundle on as it always has without the ridiculous circus that is following it.

Nope i am not bothered by it! The hysteria on this forum is so OTT!!! Quiet laughable actually!

I am looking forward to Saturday now as all the remaining couples are very good and all of them have a great chance of getting to the final. The only annoying thing to come out of John Sergeant quitting is that we will have a 2 person final, not 3 as planned.

Apart from having a 2 person final - I am not bothered in the slightest. Mre important things to worry about.

Yes it's a shame he's gone in this way, but I'm not bothered

I'm sick to death of reading about how he was bullied, petitions to get him back, petitions to get the judges sacked and petitions to get Laura back (wrong programme I know but I'm sick of that as well) I even prefer seeing 20,000 Matt and Flavia threads (slight exaggeration) to seeing a whole page of JS threads all saying the same thing

Not bothered. I think he did a good thing by quitting to be honest as things would have only got a lot worse for the show and him had he won (perish the thought). I am looking forward to seeing how the real competition pans out and seeing how his voters will vote now. I like the man, but the hype, hysteria and hypocrisy (hahaha, do you like what I did?) have been unbearable. It is only a show, but I for one watch it to see how people progress and turn into good dancers.

I'm relieved more than anything. All this John stuff has been ruining Strictly for me this year. Really looking forward to Saturday now and seeing some great dancing!

I feel the same - although with JS gone I've lost my tea making break in the programme

Couldn't care less. Maybe now the show can start really hotting up.

I wish he'd just go though rather than coming back for a farewell dance.

Yeah I feel the same...except I can't believe that we're probably going to be stuck with a 2 person final again...

Now that really does p*** me off

(I do think the whole thing is bizarre, the coverage, the hype and even John deciding to quit - it all seems very wierd but he ho....series 6 and loopiness reigns...I just want to watch some training footage and some dancing )

It is a shame to see John leave.

He seemed to be the life and soul of the party, that is slowly dying down .

Plus, I guess it's another Two Couple Finale .

Plus, Kristina is a fabulous addition to Strictly, and now my favourite professional will have to leave too .

I sincerely hope Kristina returns next season!

Sanity returns and we get our programme back....you know the reality show where celebrities learn how to dance and the best wins as a result of the combination of judges marks and the general public voting for the best one.

I'm looking forward to the next masterchef where someone wins with a ready meal because this is suposed to be entertaining.
