I hope you're happy now!

I nearly choked on my water reading that!

The main thing bothering me now is the prospect of another damn two person final.

So true so true - if you've read any of the other threads, you'll see that John had to leave - his cruise ship leaves for the Panama Canal in two weeks and he couldn't afford to still be in strictly as the speaking tour on the ship paid more!

At last I get two lovely responses in a row!!!!!!!!!

I normally get it in the neck from the ickle fluffy kitten lot!

Now if we can get rit of captain pugwash..........sorry I mean Tom!

Actually I would like to say that I have always been a fan of John's journalism (genuinely sad when he left as the Beeb's chief political correspondent) and that i did find his toddler dancing funny and endearing but felt that two weeks ago the voting situation was getting beyond a joke. It wasn't his fault and i thank him for his act.

Sometimes the fact that due that the public keep in, how can I put it, "the one that's funny because they can't do it very well so I'd like to carry on seeing them not doing it very well and making a fool of themselves" can smack of a bullying mentality. Dance little doggy, dance.

Agree with all you say. I hope now we can get to enjoying the show without the circus.

Yes, everyone's agog at the news that an oil tanker has been hijacked.

Phew so glad to see all your responses. I was scared I'd be the only one who feels this way.

I'm not bothered either!

Really quite bored of the whole thing! Sad for Kristina ... and much respect to James for speaking his mind.

Wasn't really bothered.
The only thing that's got a reaction out of me is the overreaction on this forum.

I agree.

I do feel sorry for Kristina who is a great great dancer but he's left, he's left - now on with the show.

The media are going a bit mad these days on quiet news days....the government must love this.

Me too! I'm neutral on the whole JS debate and I've been trying to avoid the JS threads this week because I thought the situation had been blown WAY out of proportion. I did get drawn in slightly on the ITT thread today.

The only problem for me is the two-person final.

Yeh, same - I much preferred the 3 person format.

I wouldn't have said anything if it wasn't for the "bullying" claims made all the time - it seems like it's just something people pull out now when they aren't happy, and that really hacks me off.

WIN!

I'm not bothered. Glad this whole stupidity is over, and looking forward to Saturday's COMPETITION, when I was considering not watching for the first time ever.

I echo these thoughts completely.

Shame that it's going to only be a 2 person final but not bothered otherwise!

I agree Vikki!! I'm getting bored of it all now - its been blown out of proportion. Good on James for speaking his mind but I wish he'd rephrased it.

At the end of the day, as obsessed as I am with SCD, its just a tv show and I dont get the big reaction to John leaving tbh.

I really couldn't care less that John's gone. Now the competition actually starts.

I couldn't give a monkey's whether he stayed or went. It's just a bit of Saturday night light entertainment.

Affected by what news?

That SCD does not raise money for CiN?

I was trying to find a thread to have a little moan - figured this was probably the best one.

There are as many threads about James Jordan now as there are about John Sergeant. I hope this dies down tomorrow.
