Wow! I think someone got affected by the negative critisism towards him.
Just stand by what you said before.
Now, you just sound like an eejit!

I just listened to James in some disbelief.

What a total cretin. Can we get HIM out of SCD?

From the beginning, he always seemed to be a bit arrogant to me, but I actually warmed to him this year, and he was so lovely with Cherie.
When he said that he stood by what he said on ITT on Monday, I thought 'Good on him!', but now, with what he just said on ITT, I'm thinking what a plonker!

John did the right thing standing down. He wasn't doing it for attention. Staying in would have got him more attention!

I warmed to him now I'm cooling down.

I think James just phrased what he wanted to say really badly. Kate and Anton seemed to agree with him but they were much better at putting their view across. James just seemed to say what came into his head without thinking.

I warmed to |james this series, but it was all just a charm offensive. . .

His mask slipped, now hes just offensive

He is a total knob.

Totally agree with James. All he is effectively saying is that John should have stayed and been voted off by the public.

When someone says, "I might sound like I'm contradicting myself," rest assured they are.
However, on one point this odious man was consistant - he was a tosser at the start of the interview and he was a tosser at the end.
For tosser substitute "bully" at your discretion.

Verily a tossed salad.

And a complete cock.

He spoke the truth and said it how he sees it. I admire his courage to dissent, it would be sooooooo much easier to be a sheep like everyone else.

Exactly and saying what a fair few people are thinking.

That may not be acceptable to some others on here but its an equally valid opinion.

My jaw hit the floor listening to that rant too!!! Although not particularly a fan of John S dancing - the man has been put in a very difficult position! Seems to have brought out the worst side of the great british public

Thing is, unlike the judges and the pros...I really don't think John would have been voted off. It had become a media monster.

I agree with you. There were already people that were willing to vote to keep him in as point of principle.

I agree totally with James.

JS obviously thinks he's bigger than the show and I don't think he's being honest about his reasons for leaving in this unsatisfactory way. He keeps telling us he's an expert on voting but seems happy enough to disregard the results of voting on SCD by quitting.

I agree with James!!
By John leaving he has made it WORSE for the dancers left in.

There is now only 2 people in the final, whereas had John stayed in the comp there would have been 3.

He has robbed someone of the final experience, I think John would have been voted out with 5 or 4 left.

Couldn't agree more. What a very unpleasant man!
