Purely as a matter of interest, was James ever known to instruct other people to please please vote on the quality of dancing, in relation to Mark?

How long did Kenny Logan last in the previous series? I didn't find him at all entertaining but the public kept him in for ages.

He wasn't that worried about the dancers (once he'd had his hissy fit, are we seeing a pattern forming?) last year, he actively campaigned fror Kenny and his wife

Yes, others obviously did find him entertaining. I must admit I wasn't keen on Kenny but when he did that dance in a kilt I warmed to him.

Thing is.....John was the only really fun contestant this year.

James really covered himself in glory this week, what a bitter little man.... what's funny is he can't even do words longer than two syllables, let's hope he get's the push for next series so someone with a bit of class can participate instead.

He also said that John wanted to make the series all about him and stated categorically that John wanted to be a "hero". There may or may not be truth in that point of view but to claim it as fact as James appeared to do leaves a nasty taste. None of us know all of the motives that led John to leave Strictly apart from John himself.

What exactly was wrong with his logic?

'He wanted the public to vote for the best dancers but if they didn't then John shouldn't have pulled out. If that meant he got to the final so be it that is what this dance/enterntainment show is about.'

He obviously, in addition, felt that John was not doing this entirely out of a selfless attitude but was using his political experience to judge what was best for him personally in terms of image and future sellability in the 'celebrity' world he now inhabits.

He now inhabits? Oh please, John Sargeant has been in the public eye for more than 40 years....he's no "johnny-come-lately." Before SCD he had no problems filling his work diary: bestselling author, extremely popular after dinner speaker, television presenter, etc.

Well she doesn't look very insulted to me.

As for "ranting", JJ accused JS of wanting the show to be "all about him". If that's not ranting, then I don't know what is...

I think James Jorden is unbelievable. What a nasty vendictive, spiteful, arrogant diva he is!! I thought his interview last night with Claudia was dreadful. What a thing to say about John!!!!. "He wants Strictly 2008 to be all about him"!! Well, I can understand why John left. He has nothing to gain, is not trying to revive a dying career, like so many of the celebs. He and Kristina were FUN and it is all now so serious and desperate. I no longer care who wins. I think the judges (e.g. Arlene especially) were ghastly to John, really humiliated him and I can well understand why he has had more than enough. So many of us looked forward to him dancing and I can understand what he means by the fact that when people are complaining about you behind your back and making comments, basically resenting your popularity with the viewers, it is no longer fun. What a nasty vendictive lot they are on Strictly!!
