Of course, John should be on there and given the chance to explain why he decided to quit, etc. But with all the clips from the news programs and the asking of the judges and dancers about how they felt about it, it kind of seems like the program makers are saying 'look what you did, you made him go and now we're sad!'.

For me, Strictly has now officially stopped being an entertainment show. I used to quite enjoy watching it on a Saturday night but have been slowly getting tired of how serious people are treating it. Today has been the final nail in the coffin for the show and I'm not sure if I'll be watching it again.

I don't blame John, I have found him very entertaining throughout and okay, he couldn't dance very well, but he was entertaining and as far as I'm concerned that is what Saturday TV is all about.
