I cant stand this rude and arrogant hypocrite. I hope we dont have him back next year. And iof we do lets partner him with a hopless dancer and defend himself. I know for a fact many people would never vote for his arrogant sore loser

I think we just console ourselves with the fact that even if partnered with someone brilliant ( and Cherie most definately was not) he will never win!

James is a young man who may have expressed himself poorly

And let's not turn this into yet another Cherie bashing thread - have you nothing better to do?

So I'm not allowed to say she wasn't brilliant?

I understood the points he was making, he just didn't articulate them very well.

FFS, does everything always have to be about Cherie

Exactly. James just put what he was saying across really badly.

James is a really good dancer and I don't think it's fair for people to be calling for him to be fired just because he said what he thought (far more on the BBC board than here). He was just being honest.

I agree with James!! As did Kate, Anton, Arlene, Craig AND Len. John should not have pulled out of a competition he had committed to.

By John leaving he has made it WORSE for the dancers left in.

There is now only 2 people in the final, whereas had John stayed in the comp there would have been 3.

He has robbed someone of the final experience, I think John would have been voted out with 5 or 4 left.

As posters have already said James doesnt articulate very well and he comes across aggressive which is a shame because he is only being honest and passionate.

I think its refreshing to hear someone tell it as it is on TV these days.

until last week i thought he had changed from the guy that was horrible and nasty to the woman from casualty ( sorry cant remember her name )
how wrong i was he is the same nasty man he was just nice to cherie becuase he thought he could win

As I understood it he wanted the competition to be judged on the dancing and not on popularity, but as such John should have stayed in so he could be judged on his dancing (which wasn't the best).

I agree with James but I think he could have put his point across in a much better way.

He is consistent then.

Er...how can you either agree or disagree with what James said, given that he flatly contradicted himself about four times? Just like with the bizarrely self-contradictory comments from the "judges" () the normal rules of logic simply cannot be applied.

Although I agree with you that a 2 people final is a DISARSTER, I have to shake my head in disbelief about what is happening here.

Last week a lot of people were asking for John to resign, because he was robbing the better people of their well-deserved places. Now, he has resigned and he is still robbing them. He ain't! Only one couple can win. I liked Cherie and James (however, his inconsistency in this matter has me put right off him again), but they wouldn't have made it into the final. They lacked the public support.

He is gone now (on his own terms rather than having to take part in a ridiculous exercise such as a predetermined dance off), so people should move on and enjoy the rest of the show.

He made it far too personal - he accused John of being selfish and wanting it all to be about him which I don't think was totally fair.

You make a very good point but Wolverine was still quite rude to both John and Kristina who must have been only feet away from him as he verbally lunged into them

He was a hypocrite, backtracking on everything he had said before.
He wasn't the only one either.

I agree with you. James will never win any prizes for diplomacy but he is willing to speak his mind and I for one think he had a point. And I'd like to think that the voting public would have ended voting for dancing skill in the end as has happened in previous seasons.

I liked Cherie, but never felt like voting for her because I have never liked James, and his behaviour tonight just reminded me exactly what it was that I don't like about him! I don't think John should have left, but can understand his reasons. James is just a bitter, arrogant man, and should now disappear off our screens for good.

If he is unfortunately back next season, I don't care who he is partnered with, I would never vote for them. I'm sorry, but that's just the way I feel.

I'll quote myself, because I still believe what he said made sense:

"As I understood it he wanted the competition to be judged on the dancing and not on popularity, but as such John should have stayed in so he could be judged on his dancing (which wasn't the best). "

I hope this self quoting doesn't catch on, the threads are long enough as it is
