John - utterly petulant and childish.

After all those weeks of people voting to keep him in he just goes and flounces off in a huff because SOME people thought he didn't deserve to be there. ("I'm being bullied! Waah!")

John kept blabbing endlessly by about "the rules of the game" and how he doesn't do anything wrong - but John, the judges aren't doing anything wrong by thinking you're an atrocious dancer and that by being voted in you take up place for a more promising dancer.

The judges were attacking/disagreeing with the voters, yet he's taken it completely as a personal attack and has quite childishly chosen to sulk off the programme.

I didn't like him still being there, but I did think it was fun that he was basically sticking it to the format and highlighting a very glaring flaw in it - i.e. the debate about "entertainment" vs. "competition". He's spoilt it, though. He didn't give a crap about dancing, imo; he just wanted to generate publicity for himself - and he's doing it again by storming off like this.

I guess we lost Cherie for nothing, then.

Quite right, he is obviously very used to getting it all his own way

This series has climaxed perfectly for him

He said on it takes two, I would probably have won it.,

He didn't say anything like that.

I don't recall John slating the judges for giving their opinions. do you actually have a point to make?

Serious question - do you know ANYTHING about this subject?

When you turn on your PC / phone / read the papers and find how 'you shouldn't be there' is the main topic of conversation, when your wife receives phone calls demanding you apologise to other contestants, when one of the pro dancers publically brays for you to be removed (by public vote or otherwise), it's pretty much time to walk away.

I think if you are doing something that causes you to wake up in the middle of the night worrying about what is the right thing to do to make everybody happy and when it really isn't any fun any more, then it is time to call it a day - which is what he did.

Also people seem to forget that he said he woke up 4am and made his decision. That suggests to me; he's not been sleeping because of the furore caused by the his remaining in the competition.

He wasn't the story there though, he was the observer. I believe there is a difference.

The guy probably went on as he thought it would be a fun experience. With Judges and contestants making it obvious he didnt deserve to be there..why should he stay if he isnt enjoying it anymore

The judges and some contestants are beginning to take it far too seriously Rachel stevens crying for being in the bottom 2 ffs

Its supposed to be an entertainment programme

John in my opinion did the right thing he obviously didnt feel he could carry on ..which is a shame

the show has got far too nasty and far too serious
