No, I thought not. The man is a complete fool. He has ensured anyone partnered with him has no chance. Never mind he could always go for the most articulate and non contradictory dancer award!

John is the only real winner this year.

He did himself no favours tonight.

He was indecisive and quite cruel.

And I thought he'd changed!

perhaps NOT to win is a better option after tonight

Agree completely! I feel very sorry for his partner next year - they will be gutted when they discover they have got him!

I'm just hoping that he won't be back next series - fingers crossed!

I only hope that BBC won't spend our license fee to hire someone as horrible as him. He's nothing but a bloody idiot!

As a dancer, I really do like James, but he is a bit of an inarticulate plonker when it comes to opening his gob

Seriously hope the bitter little brat isn't there next year.

Didn't he get kicked out last year with Gabby Logan? What a plank! I hope is wife cheats on him!

I'd put money on him not having his contract renewed.

His comments this week have become progressively more controversial and by today clearly also premeditated. One has to wonder if he's had enough of the show anyway and is looking for a way out.

To be utterly frank, I don't think the show would suffer at all if he and Ola left. Whereas I think it would be a tragedy to lose some of the other dancers. The Jordans don't bring much to the show at all.

I defended him this week (despite being a John supporter) when he made that comment after the dance off as I thought it was understandable that he was upset and spoke out because of that. Tonight he has just come over as an idiot. If he had just said what Brian said (who is a total gentleman and star) 'I am not sure it was the right decision but support him 100%. ' but no you have to dig yourself a bigger hole James......shame on you.

Totally agree. I did the same when he left and then his comment and behaviour let me down completely. What a complete idiot he is.

I have said this in another thread, and I copy and paste here:

I recalled in ITT earlier in the series the pros and celebs were asked who they think would win Strictly.

I recalled Tom and Jodie picked Cherie, based on dance merit.

I recalled James picked Andrew, and the reason, he gave, was Andrew was dancing with his wife (huh?) and GMTV celebs always do well and go far in the competition.

Now if we take that into consideration, surely James IS contradicting himself asking people to vote for better dancers when he said such a thing?

I would have been less surprised if he said he thought Cherie would win, but he specifically picked Andrew, and I am sure he already knew from watching his cha-cha and the boy's group dance that Andrew is nowhere near the dance ability of Austin and Tom?!?!

I think we need to accept that 'controversial characters' attract viewers.

I bet the producers are loving James right now and have already booked him up for next series
