John Sergeant!

Please could we have a whole thread where JS isn't mentioned? I'm sort of forgetting who else is on the show and it would be so refreshing.

I do like Christine very much. She seems such a pleasant warm character and her dancing has improved immensely. Also she was genuinely nice tonight about.......well she always seems genuinely pleasant.

Sure

Hope we get pictures of Ramps's ball. Also hope the poor boy manages to steer clear of Arlene - she looked very excited at the prospect of being near him!

Oh yes, she mentioned it on ITT, didn't she? Hope there's some photographers there.

How about training...

I'll be intrigued to watch Austin cha cha this weekend. His footwork looks brilliant as usual and his hips don't move half badly at all. I think his solid physique works against him as far as appearing wriggly goes though.

Lisa I thought looked incredibly tense in training. It was like she wasn't enjoying it at all. I wonder if the pressure has got to her a little.

Rachel looking lovely. She just needs to hold that performance on Saturday.

Tom lacked sharpness imo but I've come to learn from him he's a last minute kind of guy - he seems to always look a bit rubbish and yet pulls it out of the bag on the night. Mr Grumpy was definitely putting in a reappearance though.

Christine was looking not to bad at all. Her arms needed some work but she may have been concentrating on getting the footwork right first.

It's a shame they showed nothing of Jodie. It would have been better if they'd saved Tom's training for his interview and showed hers instead.

I've liked Christine from the start and I'll be voting for her and Jodie from now on.

PS This is more like it

Can we have a game to see how many threads are started saying exactly the same as existing threads and with exactly the same people posting in them?

Or an award for the biggest overreationary post?

Oh go on, can we have a proper awards ceremony? Got your DJ Mike? We're going to need plenty of alcohol to get through it, but the non appreciation thread can provide that!

Have to admit didn't think Lisa's quickstep looked too good; Brendan was really having to haul her around. But it is early days and we don't know when that was filmed.

Yes, wasn't Jodie the only one they left out? Not sure how she will cope with the jive though. Samba wasn't good and jive is faster.

I started a similar thread a few days ago. I think people find it hard to think of something new to say at the moment...!
