Yes its another thread of John Sergeant bashing but im going to put across two points here on why I see John as a totally selfish individual.
By quitting he breaks two vital points in SCD. Two main reasons why these celebrities SHOULD be participating in this event. One of which has been mentioned, the other nary a word has been noticed of which should not be happening!

1) By leaving like he did John is not thinking about his fans. The thousands of fans who phoned in to his line to keep him in the competiton. By leaving its like saying he couldnt care less about them at all.

2) Worse however is the small fact that this is a show where part of the profits is directed to CHILDREN IN NEED! With John nipping out the competition this means that there is likely to be less votes sent out. Less Votes = Less cash gained.

Both of these are points that just show how SELFISH John has been in his actions.

The votes don't go to Children in Need anymore
Just fyi.

BUT I suppose the SCD input into Children in Need bolsters the money they take, however not the voting.

Once again, it must be said that no part of the money from calls is going to Children In Need this year.

1) John's fans don't think of him when they keep setting him up for more ridicule and scorn the following week.

2) If the charity aspect is that important then the viewers can donate directly rather than through a stupid TV programme.

Oh for goodness sake - not another flaming thread about John being selfish because he is depriving Children in Need.

NO MONEY GOES TO THE CHARITY!!!!

And wouldn't you pull out if it got to the point where even your wife picks up the phone and receives a nasty phone calls?

There are many nasty selfish people in this affair but John is not one of them.

Who knows how much longer John would actually have lasted anyway?
