For me the best partnership this year has been Jodie and Ian- they will stay friends for sure. John and Kristina, I'm not entirely sure.

Nobody was asking John to hug Kristina- as others have pointed out, all he had to do was take her hand for a second. It wouldn't have killed him to do that even if he isn't a tactile person. He's been dancing with her for weeks so any arguement that he wouldn't have felt comfortable is ridiculous.

Then you can make a gracious speech about the judges just doing their job, all the good friends you've made, how wonderful Kristina is (the only bit of truth) then we can spill onto the floor and tearfully kiss and hug you both. That way things will finish nice and tidily - and we can all carry on being hyprocrites."”

Excellent post. There was a good chance that John would have reached the final..a number media people have said as much today, presumably they must have seen the voting figures. Len had already said ( in so many words ) that it was making a mockery of the show..John had little alternative but to stand down.

Claudia did twice.

For goodness sake, is everyone going to analyse every tiny thing? I am actually surprised we haven't had a "John wore the wrong tie on ITT" thread. Or "John is to blame for Global Warming thread".

Get a grip and stop trying to demonise a nice bloke just because he refused to put up with the judge's playground antics anymore.
