I think most of the pros are helpful, nice and respectful, they give the celebs choreography to suit their ability. Some of the pros are limited teachers, (just coz you can do it doesnt mean you can teach it) The worse pros for teaching I have seen are, Ola/James/Brendan they have no patience for slow learners. They forget its taken them 20 years to learn what they are teaching. I find Brendan patronising and rude. James was trying to challenged Brendan's bad boy image as if it was some type of title he wanted. Ola with Andrew and Kenny was dreadful. I understand why they two are married now, two faces of the same coin.
Now Brendan and James have both tried to curtail their behaviour this series. I think they have eventually realised that it actually reflects more about their abilities, or lack of them than the celeb. But leopards don't change their spots.

I think thats quite a closed attitude to believe no one can change, life is more complex than that

You're forgetting some of the celebs give the pros a hard time and aim for perfection.

He has stropped a bit about his marks especially early on but respect to him on Tuesday night for saying that he was overmarked by Len as well as undermarked by Craig and the two probably cancelled each other out.

But they are still real people and should be judged as such not as characters in a play and real people develop and change.

Thats what I'm talking about, the celebs are human beings with feelings and so are the pro's and they all change and develop

No, love 'em or loathe 'em, I think we have a nice mix with our pro's. Something for everyone.

IMO, Anton is the most successful pro outside of the competition based on tv appearances, etc and he hasn't made much headway in any of the series! Says a lot about his character. If James is not careful, he'll end up on some obsure RTV like Brendan did a few years ago

It depends what they want to do with their careers.Anton clearly wants a TV career and seems to be doing well with this,as you say certainly better than he has done on the show. James J may not want a TV career (even if he did he may have limited his options at least for the moment...all things pass though and in a few years time it'll all be water under the bridge) He may just be happy with a teaching career or exhibitions. I can't see JJ going anywhere soon series wise the BBC will enjoy his controversy rather than dismiss it.

I don't think the pros are annoying and most of them do a fantastic job of choreographing to their celebrities strengths, teaching and injecting some fun into the whole thing. Having said that, two couples stand out for me as being too intense and showing how much they wanted to win. Those couples are Cherie & James and Austin & Erin. In both cases it's the pro dancers rather than the celebrities who have got under my skin. I always liked Erin but this series she seems different along with her change in appearance. Tom & Camilla and Rachel & Vincent probably want to win just as much but they still retain a sense of fun.

I've really gone off Erin this series!

I don't dislike any of the pro's ,I'm a bit meh about Flavia and Hayley but I couldn't say I have any feelings of dislike for them.I don't know them after all. I think they all do an amazing job and work very hard

We've seen evidence of James being stupid about this but not the other pro's, they haven't said or done anything except be very professional.

I have heard that some of the other contestants haven't been very nice.

Still it is over now, a lot of people wanted John to resign and he has. I hope we get a worthy winner out of this series.

Brendan I think is very different this series (Obviously we come from two very different sides on him)

(Ok I have a bit of trouble justifying JJ although I think his problem was more one of being inarticulate .He did treat Cherie a lot better than Georgina though and even there I would cite BBC editing as Georgie was always quite complimentary about him in interviews)

What I'm saying is it is pretty damning to say they'll never change (although I seem to be rivalling James in my articulation at the moment!)
