Croque Monsieur
Anyone else a fan of the Croque monsieur and the variants such as Croque madame, Croque provençal - and one I saw on holiday "Croque boum boum (bling bling)"?

I know a place that makes it's own special bread then puts tomato sauce and cheese on top. They offer other toppings as well.
It tastes great! |

Oh yes, love croque madame. It's just really ham, cheese on toast with an egg on top though

I do a version of this,
Take one large soft bread roll, a burger bun or english muffin, slice through the middle, put a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on the bottom, replace top, wrap in foil, bake in a moderate oven for 30 mins. |

Mmm muffin sounds nice. So I guess that'd be a Croque Anglais?
