I for one will not be watching on Saturday. I have been loving Strictly but I don't know that there is anyone entertaining left. Just desperados:yawn:

I'll probably have the telly on BBC1 at the time the programme is on. But as John was the only one who didn't make me cringe I'll probably also have the mute button pressed and my head facing the computer rather than the TV for the entire duration.

I think this is the view of many. I just don't see the point anymore. An enjoyable experience has been turned sour.

Wouldn't miss it for the world...I think the vocal minority might though,I don't feel they amount to a majority.

I'm not sure about that.

SCD has about 10 million viewers, so will see how many are still watching it this weekend. Even if the 170,000 that feel the need to complain switch off there will still be many million people watching it, including myself.

Are you sure? I will cdertainly be watching and a lot more comfortably too!

The way some people go on you'd think the show was unpopular and rubbish before JS was on it. Without him, it will be just as good as it ever was, and in case people have short memories, that was very good and very popular - well before JS ever attempted to monopolise it!

Yup, all the same people who watched it before the tabloids made it all about JS. The real fans that the show was in danger of losing, you know, the ones that made it as popular as it is today - we will be watching!

I agree with you and I will not be watching other than John and Krystina's last dance...although a little frightened I may throw a brick through the television screen should Arlene stand and applaud them!

I would question the 10 million viewers 8.9m at its peak. The minute xfactor comes on its viewing figures drop dramatically. I think that if Xfactor were on the same time everyone would watch it now. Where is the drama now? There is only a bunch of wet blankets left, desperate for new careers.

I too look forward to enjoying an evening of DANCE. It will be Strictly thrilling once again, just as it should have been these past few weeks.

I've only been half-watching it this year, but the way everyone (not necessarily the dancers) is taking it so bloody seriously could well prove to be the nail in the coffin.

I know I've taken it too seriously in the past, but that is usually due to the judges being biased more than anything else (especially in Emma Bunton's case. I don't care what Erin said about it; Emma's Paso was crap). I don't think I've ever let a truly awful dancer get to me.
