I do hope no one from Pick TV is reading this, as it may give them an idea.

In the 1980's, Crimewatch was a very important show (even amongst those at school) and we would always wait up to see the update at around 11.00pm. I wish the OP all the best with their search - I know that my friend at school used to record them all and had an archive, but have not seen him since the early 1990's.

Not so funny when you ask a genuine question and get, lets say, less than serious answers.
Edit: It's a shame I've not got any because I could have given them what they wanted.

I'm particularly looking for some 1996, 1997, 1998 episodes.
That's about 30-33 if they didn't do one on Christmas and/or New Years. |

There are quite a few on the web. I must say this show has changed beyond belief. The old minimalistic reconstructions back in the day were pretty scary.....they're more like a movie sequence now.

It's a long shot, but if you're a university student you can use bobnational (log in via your institution) and access all Crimewatch episodes from 2007 onwards (for free)

I hear the BBC are to release a 10 disc dvd boxset of the best of crimewatch, with special features including, the top ten 'done over' post office moments over the years and a bonus interview with an actor who played a crook in a reconstruction in 1996 involving a robbery at the co-op using a banana!
Griping stuff!! That'd be great, thanks. |
