Top Tip: How to Photograph your Dog.
Steven Milloy
21-11-2008
If your dog just will not sit still and is continually destracted when you are trying to take a photo of him/her, here is a TOP-TIP.

1. Show your dog that you have a dog biscuit in your hand.

2. Using a small bit of Blu-Tak, attach the biscuit to the top of your camera.

3. You will now find that you have your dogs undivided attention.

4. Just remember to give them the biscuit when you are finished.

We tried something similar...and ended up with about 700 photos of her with the exact same expression on her face

Do you think it will work with cats??? My little one doesn't sit still and "attacks" the camera when I try to take her piccie!

Good tip!
We never had a problem with Merlin, he posed. Almost seemed to move his head as if to say 'which is my best side?' People used to laugh as he made it obvious he was the star. I was taking pics of a friends dog once and Merlin kept walking in front of him looking up at the camera, as if to say I should be pointing it at him. He would only stop posing once he heard the click.
