Can anyone tell me why i have this message when i go to SETUPUP -HELP-SETTING at no 9 it says NO DISC, i've chechecked ribbon connector and it seems ok, had HD in 10 months and it worked till monday, if i got someone to revove patritions do you think it might work again, cant do it myself on laptop. thanks

Can't see that being a fix at all for it,why would you want to remove partitions?

just someone suggested it on a forum, as i know nothing about stuff like this

Formatting using the Front button method removes and restores the partitions

Hi i tried doing that but then after doing so it won't come out of standby, but if i just power on as normal i've now got the other problem of DRIVE NOT PRESENT, thanks for the reply though.
