A Neapolitan Pizzaiolo would probably weep at the above.

I think Goodfellas Pizzas taste pretty good myself, didn't realise they were mass produced in those quantities though.

Thank goodness for pizza-express! Individually hand made as you want it.

Whether it is hand made or machine made does not determine if it tastes good.

The only thing about these 'posh-pizza' places is they tend to scrimp on the cheese a bit and vast areas of the pizza is just plain dough.

All ready made food bought at supermarkets is mass produced, and I doubt all food factories are as clean and as hygienic as that one looks! Even M&S food which certain posters on here rave about is made in the same sort of mass produced way.

I think you'll find it's the cheaper ones overdoing the cheese. Contrary to popular belief, a Pizza shouldn't be completely covered in cheese.

Goodfellas used to do a Pepperoni Pizza Pie with a crust like a tart. Not sure if they still do them.

Aldi used to do a stonebaked chicken & spinach pizza which were very nice. Haven't seen them for a while though.

Usually the only frozen pizza we get are the mini micro-pizzas. The cheap ones, not the Goodfellas ones. Taste the same to me.

Have to agree that if you are going to buy something mass produced then of course its conditions are not going to be the way you would have them in your own kitchen. The only way not to be grossed out is to buy the ingredients and make it yourself - usually cheaper and much better for you as you can see exactly what you are putting in.

It never ceases to amaze me what garbage people will ingest, yet in every other aspect of their life they try to be 'healthy'!

I mean, come on, if those Iceland chicken nuggets are £1 a bag, how do you think they are so cheap?

Not a big fan of frozen pizza however spotted a genuine Italian made item in Asda recently.

Asda Extra Special Italian Meats Pizza @ £2.
There is also a Margherita one.

Not bad value for £2.
Taste acceptable.

Real Neapolitan pizzas are the best on the planet.

Sainsburys used to sell frozen real Neapolitan Margherita pizzas. They were good.

I don't care, so long as it is deep fried - I have spent too long in Scotland
