Vodafone's level of service

Last Saturday I ordered a Vodafone Monthly sim Only pack On-line (Via Quidco for the £90 cashback)

So far I have not received the sim despite receiving an email confirming that my account was approved (within) hours of placing the order.

Do Vodafone normally take this long to send a pay monthly sim?

Yesterday I chased up the order, and was told it was dispatched by Special Delivery (but weren't able to give me a tracking number)

Needless to say I didn't receive, so called again today chasing it up.

Firstly the sales staff told me that my order did not exist, and began telling me that I will not be receiving anything. Then continued to try and persuade me to order a new sim. Even though I was quite diplomatic, the the staff started getting very aggressive towards me when I told him I didn't want to order again, but wanted to escalate the issue.

The staff got very refused to put me through to anyone or refer me to another number, where I could speak to someone.

Not being satisfied with this response, I redialed the number and spot to one of the 191 staff, who put me through to the the dispatch warehouse (the same team that told me that my order had been dispatched). The lady went on to tell me that my order wasn't dispatched and she couldn't tell me when it will be.

I'm getting quite tired of this whole situation. Do Vodafone know what they are doing? Do they have a sales order processing system? Is this just a sign of the level of service I will experience with Vodafone in the future? Does anyone have an address for complaints?

I think I'm going to regret switching to Vodafone.

I tried to cancel my sim only option i sent them an email they said i was in a 12 month contract which im not and then they replied and asked me to call them. I called them up and waited on hold an hour and 20 mins and then gave up. Is it just me or has Vodafone's customer services got really bad?

Did they accept that the contract was a monthly one rather than a 12month contract?

So far I am absolutely appalled 8 days since approval of account and still no sim card. I just grateful I didn't order a phone as well.

I'm going to have to check my bank account to make sure they haven't started taking payments by direct debit.

Anyone else still waiting for a pay monthly sim only from these clowns?

Go to the Vodafone website, they have a help forum there which is manned by Voda CS staff but be very careful, it is heavily sanitised and they are under strict instruction to delete any posts considered too damaging and ban the forum account.
