I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem with their cat? I have two of them but it is only one who seems obsessed with their water bowl. Not only does he stand in it but he has taken to tipping it up so the water is all over the floor.

So far I have tried getting a bigger heavier bowl but he just stands in it and flicks the water out till the bowl is empty. I tried taping the bowl to the floor but he does the same thing.

I am a bit at the end of my tether what to do because if Ive been out I come back and find that its empty and all over the floor and they are both thirsty.

I dont really want to tell him off when I catch him doing that because I tried that once and he then seemed to think he wasnt allowed near the bowl and therefore couldnt get a drink.

Help - its driving me mad....

I know there are a few on here that use a bowl that has constant running water as they have a problem with their cats chucking it about. I am sure they will be along to help soon.

Oh ive not seen one of those before. I might give it a try as both of them love drinking from the bath tap so that might encourage him not to play with it...although I would imagine he will find a way to stand in it still!
