Good ratings for Mutual Friends against strong competition from both Channel 4 and Five. Fiddles, Cheats and Scams did okay business but it's been moved to Thursday next week, what's ITV showing on Tuesday?
I remember reading that Mutual Friends was meant to be shown last year but it's only now being shown which probably means it won't get a second series but we'll have to wait and see. |

But there's no away competitve matches on terretrial tv now. I seem to remember watching away competitve matches were on the bbc between 2001-2004. So in a way, it's a step down from the previous 2 deals.
Away competitive matches are the only rights sold individually by the relevant FAs. Away friendlies come as part of the package because the FA request the rights in return for organising the match. |

Do you have yesterday's rating for Deal or No Deal, Wogan's Total Recall & Masterchef?
16.15-17.00, 17.00-17.30 (C4) & 18.30-19.00 (BBC2) .. Thanks

That's only because the Beeb bought most of them individually - hence why the crucial 0-0 against Turkey was shown live on Sky with highlights on ITV. As mentioned on the Broadcasting forum, Setanta still haven't sold on highlights rights for the away games they've purchased.

Professional Masterchef doesn't seems to doing as well as normal Masterchef but its doing well for its timeslot. Maybe the BBC and Shine have overestimated the popularity of MC with another edition to go alongside the normal one and the celebrity one.

Does anyone know when BBC One releases their autumn schedules, it's unusual that they are the last of the main channels to showcase their autumn schedules but then again after the Queengate Scandal that occured during last year's autumn schedule, I would think they have chosen to go last.

Mutual Friends would have been on it and they've already started it. |

I agree... I'm thinking that rather than one big Autumn launch, BBC1 are doing lots of mini-launches for individual shows. I know, for instance, that tomorrow the new contestants on Strictly Come Dancing are going to revealed.

Also in the press today talk of the Beeb wanting Harry Hill to do a revamped "Generation Game", though this has been denied. |

Thanks, quite steady I suppose apart from Wogan which lost 0.3m of its audience between the first and second showing.
DOND is down 0.1 on its series opener and Masterchef kept all of its audience. |

DoND might be 100,000 down regarding viewer numbers but it had a 3.7% rise in audience share.
