Major Scheduling Changes For The Week: Mon 26th May- Sun 1st June *schedule subject to change
BBC1 Match of the Day live will be shown on Wednesday; a match between England and USA. Apprentice: As a result, the Apprentice has been moved to Tuesday at 21.00. ITV1 Britain's Got Talent schedule: Bank Holiday Monday: 21.00-22.30 Tuesday: 20.30-22.00 Wednesday: 20.30-22.00 Thursday: 20.30-22.00 Friday: 21.00-22.30 The Bill: No episodes shown that week. Coronation Street: All episodes normal apart from Wednesday, where there will be a 1 hour episode: 19.30-20.30, which leads into BGT. Millionaire: Cut to half an hour on Tuesday; shown from 8.00-8.30. ---------------------- Ratings-wise the Monday, Thursday and Friday BGT shows should do very well due to there being no major competition. Tuesday will be very interesting because of the Apprentice. ITV have been very clever on Wednesday by having a 1 hour Corrie, so people don't turn over to watch Motd. I think Corrie and BGT will quite easily beat Motd- it's only a friendly against the USA! Should be a good week all round for ITV- they should win every single day share-wise I think. I just wish next week's Apprentice was shown on Tuesday because I know a lot of people will miss it because of the Champions League final. ITV has had quite a good week. Special nights seems to be the way tv is going. The Duke, plus the UEFA Cup Final all doing well. Btw when is ITV running Hells Kitchen this year? |

England vs USA being a friendly, and not very important at that, with most of the players thinking of their summer holidays. However I still think it will do quite well.

I think Hell's Kitchen will be in te autumn a week or two after BB like it was last year. ITV have an exclusive handcuff deal with Marco Pierre White so he will back as head chef.
It didnt do too well last September, so I would expect it to run earlier this year, maybe opposite the Olympics? |

Is this because they are losing an episode one of the weeks when Euro 2008 is on? I presume the schedules will become messed up pretty much in primetime because of Euro.

The ratings are just rubbish for everything at the moment. I know EE clashed with Emmerdale last night, but a few years ago it would have never been dreamed of that EE and Waking The Dead would score the same rating. My, how times have changed!

All those hours of Britain's Got Talent should give ITV1 its annual week of ratings victory (share-wise) over BBC One, the way I'm a Celeb used to in its pomp.

Ooh that's bad for something that costs £1 million an episode. I know there are more ratings to add to that due to repeats but that's still low.

I'd be very surprised if they bother holding on to it after this season. It doesn't seem as profitable as it was.

But it is still C4's most watched import. If they blow this away, then they could be left with even more flops, both international or homegrown.
I can't see channel 4 making much money from this show anymore. How much will advertisers pay for a slot that gets under 2m |

Desperate housewives does fine for channel4. But i'd have thought for a show worth £1m an episode, they'd be expecting at least over 3m on first show.
It is weird for such a high-profile show to be beaten by something like The Artful Codgers. |

One way to solve that would be for C4 to actually advertise the show. This season is IMHO the best since the first, but I've not seen one trailer since the boring trailers at the start of the season. One of the best and most spectacular episodes (the hurricane) is coming up soon, let's see if they give that any hype...
