I think Hell's Kitchen will be in te autumn a week or two after BB like it was last year. ITV have an exclusive handcuff deal with Marco Pierre White so he will back as head chef.

Is this because they are losing an episode one of the weeks when Euro 2008 is on? I presume the schedules will become messed up pretty much in primetime because of Euro.

I'd be very surprised if they bother holding on to it after this season. It doesn't seem as profitable as it was.

But it is still C4's most watched import. If they blow this away, then they could be left with even more flops, both international or homegrown.

Desperate housewives does fine for channel4. But i'd have thought for a show worth £1m an episode, they'd be expecting at least over 3m on first show.
I can't see channel 4 making much money from this show anymore. How much will advertisers pay for a slot that gets under 2m

One way to solve that would be for C4 to actually advertise the show. This season is IMHO the best since the first, but I've not seen one trailer since the boring trailers at the start of the season. One of the best and most spectacular episodes (the hurricane) is coming up soon, let's see if they give that any hype...
It is weird for such a high-profile show to be beaten by something like The Artful Codgers.

I've seen 2 of the hurricane trailers this week. They could have put more effort into it though. The build-up towards this series hasn't been good at all too.

I completely agree, the tornado episode was brilliant. Get the advertising right i think it could double its audience
