Thank you It seems with ITV having stronger competition in the 10pm slot the Late News benefitted as BBC NaT was down, due to people watching Touch Of Frost.

Just one more request...sorry

Thanks-you're an absolute star

Police Interceptors is becoming a hit on FIVE-ITV's version of Police Camera Action Great scheduling aswell providing a good alternative to the soaps-also performing on FIVER.

Excellent start considering it was on for nearly 2 hours and there's 2 primetime repeats this weekend. Should pull in over 1.0 million when officials are out.

However I've just about had enough of that flipping advert now after seeing it about 200 times and that's no exaggeration It was good to start with, but now

Me too! At least it hasn't been shown as many times as the Rock Rivals ad was.

However, ITV's Sport evening seems to have flopped on them a bit.

That F1 rating is dreadful

And Massa down in 6th

That covers the whole programme from 17:15 to 19:15.

The session itself was from 18:00 to about 18:55; my guess is that the rating between 18:00 and 18:55 would be about 3m with a peak at about 18:50 of 3.5m maybe?

Not many people watch the pre-race, so that probably in itself only banked a million viewers.

rzt, do you have any peaks for the F1?

Doctor Who did well in both number of viewers and audience share.

Probably, but somehow I think they wanted more, with it being Hamilton's maiden pole in 2007 and the Mosely stuff and the close championship.

BBC1 performed very well last night, but in general all ratings were down apart from DW which was up!

After working out some rough estimates BBC2's The Minotour averaged about 0.2m and a 1% share! That's awful for 1 & 1/2 hours in peaktime!!

ITV are on for an extremely low all hours share with everything in daytime and nightime pulling in less than 13% share and peaktime only performing average. F1 seems very low and I expected a little more for the Portugal game, but the match averaged around 4.6m.

CH4 are actually back on track with Saturday's! The repeats from 5-9pm performed very well for them & think CH4 brought back BB on Saturday's because tbh anything over 2 million would be good for them, as they were not getting a look in at all. I think CH4 knew it wouldn't perform as well as the other nights. I was expecting a little more though for it.

FIVE also performed well in peaktime with American Imports & Cricket. However looking at the 15min breakdowns the LIVE NHL ICE HOCKEY at 1am performs awfully with only a 1% share!

Also at 1am the amount of viewers watching terrestrial television was only around 29%, meaning a whopping 71% were watching multichannel!

Doctor Who did really well to bounce back from the BGT-hit figures of last week - especially as it was part 2 of a story which would have made no sense at all if you hadn't seen last week. I suppose that shows the virtues of the repeats and iPlayer allowing people to catch up and helping linear dramas sustain or even increase their ratings.#

Modest start for the football, for a couple of fairly modest matches, but I still think it will pick up as the tournament progresses. I'm expecting 5-6 million for the big clashes on Monday and Friday this week.

Do you think Euro 2008 will get ratings like they did in the World Cup for matches not featuring the home nations? I'm not so sure. And I've given up trying to predict Doctor Who's ratings, I just get pleasantly surprised everytime.

I think Big Brother didn't do so well but in perspective that isn't so bad. Its ratings almost doubled by the time it had finished. Then added with the fact that a lot of people won't realise the highlights are back on a Saturday the figure isn't that bad. Saturdays also traditionally rate lower.

I expect they'll go back up tonight and throughout the week hopefully breaking the 4m barrier at some point.
