It was from about 9.5m to 3.5m which isn't too bad. At least NaT's audience was raised for a bit, but the news is not a show that relies or does well with lead ins anyway and I've never said it has. I've never said once on this forum that it will ever win its slot.

Why do you keep saying it always gets 2m? It hardly ever gets as low as that? Usually about 500K above that or even more with a decent drama before it.

I think BB is holding at about the same level it was getting last year, which is good for Channel 4, but is no longer enough to win its slot against BBC1 or ITV1 most nights.

But it still leads to increased competition. And that's what we want as the BBC and ITV will make better programming as a result to regain viewers - or that's the theory anyway.

Last week NAT got 2.1m, 2m, 1.8m and 2.3m. Sorry but that makes your last statement a little suspect.

Well, this was because of the Great British Body - which brought appalling ratings. Look at other weeks before BGT and you will realise.

Article on Channel4+1 helping Big Brother. The Saturday show on +1 managed to add an extra 500,00 bring the total to 2.9m. So far in this thread I think only 2.4m had been reported.

Well, look at it this way. With a weakened performance from the BBC and ITV, mainly due to the fact England aren't in the Euros, it gives Big Brother a big chance to advertise the programme and to aid its recovery.

Your arguement seems to get stranger by the minute. You said that NAT does not rely on lead-ins and hardly ever gets as low as 2m - when I point out that it got as low as 2m at least 3 times last week you say thats because of the lead-in.

I am not trying to be pedantic but while NAT may average 2.5m it does go as low 2m fairly frequently.

Quite high for Taggart repeat considering a new episode got 4.2 million on Thursday-it seems ITV are reeling out the Taggart repeats especially in daytime after getting through all of Midsomer Murders...although there is a MM repeat next Tuesday 8-10pm

With both BBC2 and CH4 over the 3 million mark at 9pm it seems the audience was fairly spread out and by adding up the shares in the 9pm hour, I don't think the Euro 2008 match could have done very well in the 9pm hour.

With ITV getting good shares for F1, Taggart & most probably Corrie I can't understand why CH4 sales is reporting the all hours is 16.6%. I'm not disputing it, but the daytime must be performing awfully and bringing the entire weeks shares down.
