Don't know what you're talking about

Well obviously JP has been brainwashed, he knows not what he does or says. Kieron's manipulating him, I mean he's about 20 years older than him for goodness sake, and he's a Priest

Spoiler
Did you read that they actually feel sorry for us? Apparently we're all deluded about May

I was upset too about Newt - I think theres some good stuff to come from him

(But I just can't vote for Kieron - group 2 is a tough one)

Group 2 is a shocker The others are easier as I don't mind knocking out the mums and dads, apart from Myra / Leo, the rest of them all bore me

I like Newt, but had to vote for him because I like Zak slightly better... although now I've voted to eliminate Zak I feel bad.

A lot of people are saying Group 2 is the hardest actually. I arranged them so that the family's would be split up (mostly) because I thought it was fairer that way. I just jotted down the first name in the family in my head! Anyway soon the groups will be put together. Hmm...never really warmed to Zak personally

Leo Valentine is comedy gold, which is much needed

But I've been pleasantly surprised by his character in the more serious stuff recently.

Well if I'm deluded like John Paul - I have no problem

You've done a grand job Naz - Group 2 must just be filled with popular characters

Oh don't take it too much to heart guys. Some people are very passionate thats all

I wish we could be more passionate with eachother in debate rather than against eachother in suspicions...

Thanks

Yeah that wasn't intentional either! But it makes the game certainly a lot more interesting and nail-biting. I'm surprised with how many votes John-Paul has been getting too...I think people are fed up of how many threads and fans he has...

I think the overall winner may be a HUGE surprise...it could go ANY way

I'm actually quite surprised that Kris is being voted quite a lot. I thought he was really popular, obviously not

Oh I love Leo, he's brilliant. Do you remember the scene where Robin kissed JP in front of him? It was hilarious

Completely RANDOM questions if anyone can answer (been bugging me slightly):

What do the McQueens age order go?

Do any of them actually share a father?

Have to admit I wasn't watching Hollyoaks when they arrived

It certainly does

It's certainly interesting to see how characters are viewed by people who don;t post in the McDean/Kieron, Spike threads.

John Paul is clearly disliked by a lot of viewers (though some just because of his threads) but for other reasons..I've seen many posts where people have said why they don;t like him. You could also argue, that Kieron is fairly popular, as he's survived up against some tough competition.

So as I say, threads like that always fascinate me,a s an little bit of an indication of how characters are percieved by the general audience.

It's funny how as a general rule the most popular characters of a show will often have quite an active group of people who really don't like them too and will make their voices heard.

A bit like with BB, whoever wins, there's always a lot of threads on forums hating on them.

Yeah its certainly much more interesting seeing the general perception of characters in Hollyoaks thats for sure!

I have a feeling the Finale will be VERY tough...people possibly having to vote off a character they really really like (similar to the Group 2 debacle i suspect!!)

Aye, but you have to think of how many people post on forums, compared to the total audience. And I doubt there'll ever be a character who is liked by everyone.

same to be said of storylines, to use 2 I know of for certain, John Paul & Spike, John Paul & Kieron. If you looked on DS< you might not think either was popular but when you start to look elsewhere in cyberland, you find lots of positive feedback for them.

I always think for any character or storyline, for everyone person who loves it, there'll be someone who really hates it to counter balance. And then in the middle they'll be a group of people who change sides from week to week - because they like certain aspects etc.

Is James from the south originally? I'm sure from interviews at the soap awards last year he sounded a lot more southern.

I remember being shocked when Carmel (sorry don't know her real name) accepted her award and her voice was so different. I have a lot of respect for actors who have to use a different accent.

I'm glad they didn't get Jake to change his accent... it's lush as it is...

James is from Sutton Coldfield

His real name is James Cook but some other British Actor has the same name, so he adopted Sutton because he's from ^^^

Oh Jakes accent is yum yum, sexy and calming...I wonder what he'd sound like going absolutely mental and shouting the roof off!

Carmel (Gemma Merna) never heard her real accent! Whats it like?
hayleyg

I think Gemma Merna is from the Cardiff area?? I could be wrong, but I think both she and James attended the same drama school there
