Why don't they invite a couple to come back in?

With the gap that John Sergants exit ahs created, why don't they just invite a couple back. Heather and Brian would get my vote.

How would they work out which couple should come back?

I think Cherie should come back without doubt ! She should never have gone last week

It just wouldn't be workable. To invite a couple back would be seen as giving them an unfair second chance. As a Cherie fan, I still wouldn't want J&C to be invited back. I can only start to imagine the controversy that would cause, and the anger from those people who were upset by James's comments.

In my view the best approach would be to have a week without the SCD competition (maybe an extended ITT instead) and to have the couples compete the following week, when they can do two dances really well, rather than two dances not so well.

I would hate a 2 person final but bringing back another couple would create even more controversy. I wish this week wasn't another eviction though. That sucks. It just goes to show that losing John hasn't actually saved a better dancer.

I wish they would just let all of the couples avoid ellimination and carry their marks over to next week. The prospect of a two person final isn't one I'm looking forward to

Bringing another couple back (and I say this as a Cherie fan) would be more trouble than it is worth plus if it did happen it would be really likely that whoever got voted back on would find themselves in the bottom two with the public again probably straight away and it would be horrible for them to go through the process of the dance off again and horrible to watch.

I doubt any of the eliminated couples would want to come back just to be voted out again!

How do you work that out, if you are not particularly popular with the public and they dont want you back they wont vote for you thats the long and the short of it.

Yes, I can understand that. His comments upset me as well but Cherie isn't to blame for what her idoit of a dance parnter says.

I'm sure they've have thought about inviting a couple back. One of the reasonable choice would be Kelly Brook, who left at around same time last year because of the sad reason. The thing is Brendan is still on the show with Lisa and so the idea won't work.

James's comments didn't upset me at all, but I accept that some people were upset. My real point is that inviting any couple back is going to cause controversy.

Any couple brought back at this stage would be at a huge disadvantage, as they haven't trained for however many weeks they've been out of the show, so they'd be far behind the competitors who are still putting in several hours per day
