I for one hope that you don't do that Supervisor. I agree with you that as this is the Chanelle Appreciation Thread she is the number one priority for members. Not BB, not Ziggy, not Charley or anyone else but Chanelle.

I am not a supporter of Ziggy and I try and keep my responses muted on the subject as I have another thread that I post on for that and the CAT was not set up for that. If people really want to appreciate Ziggy then there is also a thread fo that.

I certainly don't mind different views but we shouldn't lsoe sight of why we post here.

I hope that we don't allow our thread to disband too early or lose people who have made this thread what it is. Because this is a good place to go and talk about Chan and find out all the latest news and I have enjoyed reading all the posts and getting to know you guys.

Sometimes, although I adore Chan, I think she can be a tad naive in these respects.
Because she knows she has done nothing wrong, she assumes everyone else will automatically assume the same.
Sadly, newspapers are not like that!

We need to keep it strictly about Chanelle now that BB8 has finished or it will be locked! I witnessed Aisleyne and Nikki threads closed down much to the dismay of their respective fans, for going off-topic in the opinion of the mods; and both had many more posts than this one currently has. If a debate starts about Ziggy, and does not involve Chanelles name we could be in trouble, and i don't believe anyone wants to see that! Anyway, there are Chiggy threads available also.

I think any talk of Ziggy on this thread has always been related to Chanelle and his treatment of her. Personally, I think a little bit of debate to be a good thing on here. It's not like some of the threads you get on the main forum where it becomes depressing reading some of the bile directed at Chanelle.

Any criticism of Ziggy with regard to Chanelle on here IMO has always been expressed in moderate terms based on the analysis of evidence. Our perception of events will obviously differ, but I don't see abuse being thrown at Ziggy, like you see on other threads. People are aware that many Chanelle fans are also Chiggy fans and so are sensitive as to the language they use in expressing themselves.

Personally, I read many opinions tonight that I disagreed with, but none of them bothered me, apart from Ophelia from the Ziggy thread who dislikes Chanelle.

If people come in here with the idea of defending Zak at the expense of Chan then I will defend her. Some posters are so neglectful of the BB history regarding Can and Zak in their wish to see the Chiggy thing on that it becomes difficult to have a proper discussion of an issue without getting some highly delusional version of events, with which you have to spend time again and again going over the same old arguments, like talking to a brick wall.
I try to restrain myself form harsh comments and have done so far but I will not be taken in by these moaners who seem to think that logical and indepth criticism of their views is too much to handle. End of rant.

Yes, she did. It was just awful to watch her beautiful face struggle to contain her emotions as she watched Charley tell everyone on vt that Ziggy had asked her for a drink because "he didn't like Chanelle any more." And then things just got worse as it became clear that Charley was returning to the house to torment her some more.

Her lovely face remained as composed as possible, admirably so, but somehow looked as if it were being beaten by invisible fists. An awful night.

Does this mean we can "alert" if anybody starts chirping on about Chiggy in a non Chanelle Appreciative way? All my posts have a direct relation to Chanelle.

That was a toughie that night and everyone in the house took the piss out of her for going to the DR ? Just because she wouldn't kiss @rse

Yes I am a Chiggy fan, but my sympathies always lie with Chan, because I see it from a woman's perspective.
No, she didnt do everything right in her relationship in the house, but there were a lot of mitigating circumstances to take into account, (and no, Ziggy most certainly didnt do everything right, either!)
I wasnt perfect when I first met my OH as I was also very young, but i didnt have the disadvantage of conducting my romance in front of cameras 24/7.
If Ziggy doesnt trust her enough to give their relationship a chance, frankly it is his loss, and I will think less of him and not her.
I was just hoping it would work out, because she does seem to have such strong feelings for him.

Can we all not just keep posting snippets of news, info etc and analyse them in a balanced, fair minded way, bearing in mind that we obviously all appreciate Chanelle or we wouldnt be here?

I totally agree! I think Chanelle's honesty is one of her greatest virtues, but it also happens to be paradoxically one of her greatest flaws. She is quite stunningly naive at times and sometimes people don't figure that in when they interpret her actions.

I mean who goes on BB and tells the world "I want to be a Wag" or talks about their idolisation of VB. It's hardly going to endear her to the BB audience and yet some people would have you believe she is a shrewd manipulator.

She's a very bright girl but not remotely worldly. But then again she's just a young woman from a fairly small town in Yorkshire, barely out of school. It's also part of her appeal.

Having said that the whole Lee Ryan thing is a load of rubbish.

This was probably part of her charm and appeal to Ziggy i suspect, who didnt like the VB stuff, but liked her for herself. She cant stop being herself now she is out of the House and if Zig doesnt like who she is, he will have to go and find himself someone more worldly and sophisticated.
Tbh though, although he tries to appear worldy and sophisticated himself, i dont really think he is.
He has been around longer, and done the boy band stuff but that was a long time ago and he doesnt seem to have done much of note since.
He said in the house that he had been a dick, trying to be something he was not, so maybe he has learned this lesson with regard to Chan.
Then again, maybe he hasnt, but all will be revealed in due course, no doubt.

An awful night, but as Juliet has alluded to also the night that her integrity set her apart from the other housemates. I find it strange that people criticise Chanelle for her dislike of Charley when the majority of viewiers shared the same opinion of Charley and yet they didn't have to live with her nevermind be bullied by her.

People on the outside viewed Charley as vicious, nasty and vindictive, with little in the way of redeeming features. Chanelle was the only housemate who seemed to see that.

Aprilbaby, is there anyplace where a scan could be found? I've lived in Dublin 6 months, and I can only find the Irish Daily Star, which seems very different and never has anything about Chanelle or Big Brother. Thanks.
