I think I will try and fit a cliché into every post, sometimes two.
You will be spoiling us

Hi mediajunk.

Reading the thread without joining doesn't really count as contributing to the threads, and people are entitled to say things about other HM's within reason but not against the HM that the thread is named after, if people want to slag Chanelle off in another thread, that's up to them, there is nothing you can do about that.

But in an appreciation thread it is expected that the FM's respect the name of the thread, else they will be reminded of the rules that govern same, and also to read the posting tips at the bottom of the page, about pointless posts.

It seams that the poster in question seldom waits for an answer, just posts a ridiculous line of text and then disappears to do the same on another thread, and this has been going on for some time, and the fun side of it is wearing thin.

Hi Hicky

I am not really new, I have been reading the CAT for some weeks. Although that prob is new as far as your concerned, but, up until today I felt no need to post messages myself. Today someone said something I really hated about Chanelle on the ZAT and I got myself all prepared to answer ... by the time I was ready to do so someone else had sorted it out. So I used up my energy by posting stuff about Carol instead ... very satisfying. Hope this wont annoy you even more !

Have you tried putting him on your 'ignore' list in your user account Hicky if it's that bad for you ?

If you take that too far do you just end up reading all your own posts.

If everybody puts him on their ignore list does that mean that Binman (or whatever his name is) will no longer technically exist?

You could always try it and see what happens . You will be the blind poster talking to yourself alongside other peoples conversations, never again seeing another bad word written against you .

Only on the account of who has chosen to ignore them

I don't have a problem with him, I actually worry if by tea time on Sunday he hasn't posted, where he is

Hi Juliet.

Have never put anyone on my ignore list, would rather try and direct those that post in the wrong thread and are not conforming to the rules for that thread into the correct thread to enable the question to be answered by those that have the answer within the topic of the thread.

It's not just bad for me, it's bad for the smooth running of the thread, as one crazy question demands many crazy answers.
And one of the posting tips says to ensure that your posts are relatively typo free, which is ignored, so some posts aren't even understood.

Is everyone happy with the official site so far?

Early days i know, but at least we now have a resource for some factual information regarding her projects and appearances, rather than the 3rd hand rumour and gossip that tends to filter through the media in general.

Maybe they should introduce and IQ stipulation.

I think 70 should do it.

I'd say it was still early days on there, but I'd like to think they'll update as and when needed

It's a good start. There is still a glitch on the "About Me" page but it seems to do the job for now. I should imagine that it will get less image heavy and more download friendly as time goes on. There are some nice touches (the shining nave buttons for one). They seem to be still working on it and changing details at the moment.
