No Chanelle won't achieve saint hood, (she'd probably decline the offer out of modesty), but she is a great role model because of what she has achieved and because she is in the public eye. There are a lot of young people who start with similar disadvantages and also achieve much but in more anonymous roles. The key thing is that young people need someone to believe in them and to be there to put them back together when they take the inevitable tumbles of growing up.
